About the Course

This course will take you through all the equipment and steps needed to produce all-grain beer on a small scale, at home, using commercial quality ingredients. It will NOT cover brewing using malt extract kits. It will take you through the legal aspects of beer making for your own consumption, explain brewing ingredients and equipment and where to buy them, explain the processes involved in beer making, teach you about malt, hops and yeast and how to make a British Ale using a simple recipe.
Practical DIY Skills, for example some aptitude for basic plumbing and electrics would be useful, but this is not essential as ready-made equipment options will be covered. If you enjoy building things at home, or in the shed or garage, this course is definitely for you!

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

An ingredients pack can be provided, at cost, if you wish to make beer at home and don't want to purchase the ingredients yourself.
