What a lovely relaxed workshop taught by a lovely relaxed and knowledgeable teacher and shared with lovely relaxed participants and the work space was ideal. I was very pleased with my wrapping paper. I will be following up this activity independently. I had worried a bit about parking but in the event Google maps just took me to the shopping centre. It was all as easy as falling off a log. Lino-cut is a very accessible activity.
Thanks Jayne. Really lovely to meet you and such good fun having you on the course! Great results with the Lino cut branch design, hope you get to create more gift wrap prints.
I really enjoyed the workshop, learning a new skill and creating something unique of my own. Rachel is an excellent teacher, she knows her stuff and makes it fun and relaxed. I now have my own tools and have had a go at home, with mixed results! Thanks Rachel for sharing your skills and love of creativity with us, it was really inspiring.
Thanks Andrea! Great to hear you’ve got your own tools to do some more cutting and printing at home. Lovely to teach you and share some creative skills. Thanks again.
I had dreamed of revisiting Lino printing after doing a project in school 30 years ago. I’m so happy I attended Rachel’s course! The setting was inspiring and Rachel was a fantastic tutor, demonstrating each stage of the process and providing encouragement and feedback as we worked. I seriously didn’t want the session to end ... such a great way to learn a skill you can practise and develop at home. Thanks Rachel!
Many thanks for such a lovely review Jan! I’m so glad you were able to realise your dream and get back to some Lino printing! Hope you can carry on with the skills learnt and enjoy developing more of those fab prints. Thanks for being such an enthusiastic participant, really nice to have met you and have you join us on the workshop.
I really enjoyed this course under the expert guidance of Rachel. We were able to design, cut and then print our designs onto paper, with some really lovely results. The setting was great, with plenty of workspace and it was lovely to see other artists work at the venue. I have now invested in the materials and attempting to make some of my own Christmas wrapping paper this year. Thank you Rachel.
Thanks Nicola. It was great to have you on the course, loved your printing results!
Rachel provided an amazing morning that set the festive season off on the right foot. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of her craft and is an inspiring and encouraging teacher. The venue was fabulous with amazing natural light (even on a bleak November day). I look forward to learning with Rachel again.
Thank you Nicki! Your design & cut block print was worth the results! Great to meet you, look forward to seeing you at a workshop again.
A fun small group workshop. Little bit more time needed to print and let the ink dry a bit before taking home, but that's always the case.
Thanks for your feedback Kylie. It’s the first time running a block printing workshop for this particular product, and I will note the extra time needed for future workshops. Great to have you on the course and to see your printing skills in action.
