On this two day workshop Kay will be looking at the complex structure of flowers and demonstrating her free flowing watercolour techniques. Learn the secret of creating the balance between the delicacy of petals and their intensity of colour. Kay will explain colour mixing, contrast, capturing and holding the interest of the viewer of the finished work, plus tips on mounting and framing. She has a fresh contemporary approach producing paintings that are both decorative and beautiful.You will be working on A1 size paper which will be provided for your “Bold & Beautiful” flower painting.Kay will also be giving advice about getting your work “out there” – contracts, etc.Kay will bring her collection of 48 soft furnishing fabrics to show you how to go about the head scratching business of textile design.
Kay also has her designs on melamine, china, cards & wrapping paper.
