About the Course
Accomplished Artist Ken Kempley will join us for this one day Acrylic workshop, which is for painters of all abilities.
The day will begin with a short introduction by Ken about his route to becoming a professional artist and how he has arrived at his current style of working. He will share with you the artists who influence him, past and present, before starting a demonstration piece.
The emphasis on painting rather than drawing will provide you with many useful hints and tips and will give you the opportunity to learn simple techniques such as: brush control, colour mixing, tonal values, composition and limited pallet control, all at your own pace. There will also be a demonstration of Ken’s use of collage to create texture and add dynamism to his work.
Whether as a beginner or an improver Ken’s workshop is sure to give you freedom to express your true creativity.
