A full day is spent painting abstractly in acrylics & mixed media. A great introduction to the beautiful medium of acrylics.
The day starts with tea/ coffee and an informal introduction.
You'll be led a step at a time, in the morning, on how to use numerous tools to apply paint.
Have fun sponging, rolling, and etching into the paint to create layers of textures and patterns on paper. This is a fun-filled activity, be prepared to make a creative splash!
The afternoon is used to create an abstract painting on canvas using the techniques covered in the morning.
The workshop is in my stunning garden studio which is atmospheric and inspirational. The workshop is limited to a maximum of 6 people so booking is essential.
My Jack Russell Toby is part of the whole experience, he loves a fuss & a lap.

A lovely relaxed day in a peaceful and pretty studio complete with Murphy the dog to greet you when you arrive! As a complete beginner, Amina patiently demonstrates the various techniques and you have the opportunity to practice these before you start on your main piece. Thoroughly enjoyable and I went home with a few creations which I was so pleased with. Completely recommend and I will be keeping an eye out for future workshops.
Response from A.S.K Art & design ( Studio & Gallery):
Thanks Kate, it was wonderful to meet you. You completed some beautiful pieces and Murphy loved all the fuss. I thoroughly enjoyed the day.
