About the Course
This half day course is aimed at anyone who has an airbrush but has not yet had success in using it or for anyone who is looking to try airbrushing but due to the cost and range of options has yet to take the leap.
In this half day course based out of my studio in Eastleigh we will cover;
Airbrushes and discuss which ones suit which application.
Air compressor options and set up.
The basic techniques and paint strokes and how to practice them.
The different airbrush materials you can spray on and their pros and cons.
The difference between stencils, shields and templates.
A quick project that will use everything you have learned and will give you the confidence to continue airbrushing.
While this course is aimed as a one to one, I can stretch to two people if you would like to book with a friend. The price per person remains the same though as this is to cover the costs of materials and studio rent and equipment.
A light lunch is included in the price as are teas and coffees.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
Paints, paint surfaces, airbrush (though feel free to bring your own), air compressor, tea and coffee and a light lunch.
Booked on the course to have a go at airbrushing, hopefully going to use it in model making. When we talked to Jamie, when booking, he was more than happy to adjust the latter part of the course towards modelling. Really enjoyed the course, Jamie is very knowledgable and really willing to hand on his knowledge. Being a small group (2) it was very relaxed and plenty of time to practice (much needed) . Jamie also altered lunch to accommodate dietary requirements which was really useful. If you are thinking about having a go at airbrushing, I would recommend this course. Great venue with parking and friendly atmosphere and a great tutor .
Thank you Jamie for a great day.
