Amanda's background is in Fine Art and my current focus is to combine these skills with creative and experimental textile approaches. In recent years I have had enormous fun working with adults who have been generous in spirit, full of enthusiasm and quick to make progress with their creative ideas. I find endless joy in working with fabric and hand stitching and enjoy sharing this interest and learning with others.
What's included in the price?
Relaxed and informal yet busy and productive. There will be a 20 minute break at 11.30am and at 2pm finish time you are welcome to relax in the garden (without the usual entrance fee) and the prairie garden cafe will be open to purchase gorgeous sandwiches and cakes.
Other notes: Amanda has found in the past that students have very different rates of productivity when experimenting and making samples. You will be encouraged to make lots of experiments and all media will be provided.
