"I bought a private workshop for mum (and myself) as a Mothering Sunday present. I could honestly not have bought a better present and we both had a wonderful day. Rachel is lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed her company. She is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge We are both absolutely over the moon with our fascinators and look forward to wearing them. We will both be looking to book further workshops with Rachel in the future and could honestly not have wished for a better teacher"

"I thoroughly enjoyed Rachel's workshop at Wall Village hall, it was an early Mother's Day gift from my two daughters. I am a total novice, but Rachel made me feel completely at ease, and I was hooked from beginning to end. Could have carried on well into the evening. The company of the other ladies was also a pleasure. I am inspired to improve and make my own fascinators from the basic skills acquired. Thank you Rachel and every good wishes for the future."

"Brilliant day learning millinery with Rachel Warrillow. I had never had a go at making a hat or fascinator but have wanted to for a while even buying a few supplies since summer last year. I had seen online tutorials but never had the confidence to start a piece by myself. I think working with sinamay you definitely need a guide the first time so I decided to treat myself to a craft course which I found on this site. The location was ideal and I loved Rachel's website and creations. There is a certain way to cut the fabric, heat and shape it that you couldn't learn as well online. I think the course is good value and you can get a lot out of it. The class size was small allowing an abundance of tutorial time and materials per person. I made two final pieces as well as shaped sinamay we practiced along the way (eg. roses, bows). Rachel is happy to share advice, supplier details and is generous with individual attention. She was kind, engaging and approachable. I enjoyed myself and definitely can't wait to make more pieces!"

Christine Jones reviewed: Fascinator making in Wellsborough nr Nuneaton

"The venue was very convenient, warm, a kitchen for the essential cuppa, plenty of tables for cutting out, others were available if required. The course run by Rachal started on time, instructions were clear simple and repeated and assistance readily available if required. Rachal made a point of asking each of us to introduce ourselves and our give a brief outline of our crafting/sewing experience which gave her an insight into the assistance individuals may require. All materials were plentiful and numerous test pieces and pre-made fascinators in Rachal boxes gave us guidance and inspiration. We were a lively group and we were all amazed at how much we achieved in a day. Angela (Best Kept Secrets owner) is going to facilitate an advanced course early in 2019 we were all so inspired!"

"What an enjoyable day! An an instructor, Rachel is patient and delivers the course in an interactive and supportive way. She will provide 1:1 assistance if you need it and freedom to explore if you don't. I had such a lovely day, with a great bunch of ladies. I only wished I had booked more places and brought some friends / family. I can see how this would make an excellent birthday experience or alternative 'hen' party. I'll be looking to book on to the next stage course soon... if only you lived closer, Rachel ;-)"

Angela Higson reviewed: Hat Making - private tuition Birmingham

"Wow what a fantastic day! I thoroughly enjoyed it and was very pleasantly surprised how I learnt enough skills in one day to make a fascinator that I would actually wear, even through I had never tried anything like this before. It really is a lot easier than you think once you have been shown the correct way to make the different components. Great value for money and we were even given a lovely hat box to take our creation home. I would love to make something else so will definitely be attending another course in the near future. Thanks again Rachel for a fab, fun day. Angela"
