"Spent yesterday making a 'garden panel'. Had a lovely day, Mike is very patient and explains each step as you do it. Nice spacious environment to work in and a yummy lunch made it a fab day overall. "This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with all participants achieving a very pleasing result - me included! You do need stamina (as does the tutor) - this is a full-on, eight hour course, but it was excellently prepared, well structured and with all materials to hand, and a good lunch provided. I am certainly glad I attended. "

"Jenny and Mike were both very welcoming and patient when I was struggling with a technique or understanding information they were imparting. The two days gave time to try new techniques and I learnt a lot from this course. I would happily book another course with them in the future. This two day course was bought as an early 60th birthday present from my husband and what a fabulous present it was. Thank you Jenny and Mike for an interesting and enjoyable two days."

"The course was all that I hoped for and more. The pace was good allowing plenty of time to practice new skills and the tutor was always on hand to guide you as required. We were well looked after during the day with both drinks and lunch. This was a really good introduction to making a stain glass panel and everyone was able to take a finished product home with them."

"I enjoyed the course. The first time I did stain glass was in high school. It was 40 years ago. But Mike brought a new meaning to stained glass, he provided a little history of the origin of glass and an interest in Tiffany’s glass. The new meaning of stained glass course was very challenging. I chose a pattern that involved 13 pieces. I thought it was quite easy to do with straight lines and triangles and squares. Mike and Jenny were both patient and supportive, they were patient and guided me through it all. I would not of completed in one day but got a lot of help and Mike and Jenny encouraged me to continue and complete the project. I did it and love the piece."

"A thoroughly enjoyable day. We did exactly as described bar eating our lunch in the workshop rather than at the nearby tearooms! At the end of a very long day we did all go home with items of which we were all justifiably proud and could legitimately say we pretty well did it all! We were encouraged to proceed and complete and both Mike & Jenny would encourage us to do, make mistakes and learn! They were very patient and prepared to repeat whatever was required to get to the end! As we all exceeded the course time, they still did not try to take over to speed the proceedings and I would like to thank them for their diligence. I would certainly recommend giving this course or any of the others a go if you fancy it!"

"My Husband and I had a really good day learning about stained glass. The course was enjoyable and well organized/run. Neither of us had worked with stained glass before so it was a very interesting day. Mike and Jenny are very friendly and helpful. There was a good supply of Tea/Coffee and biscuits plus the lunch menu and food was lovely. Thank you."

"Myself and my husband John attended a full day workshop (10 hours) creating a leaded glass panel and acquiring new skills on both glass leading and using tools relevant to complete a project. We are really proud of our end works and are now hanging in the garden. We were total beginners and impressed with the professionalism of the tutors' training style, knowledgeable and patience during the whole day. Fantastic tutors who are an asset to the art world. "As a beginner to copper foiling I was amazed at the piece I made and took home. Mike is an excellent teacher and his demonstrations of the various techniques were easy to follow and he answered our quesitons as he went along. He was happy to re-cap a tecnique and encouraged you to beleive in yourself. The course was informative and fun with several paterns to choose from. Jenny also provided guidance and support through the day and the small group allowed plenty of interaction with them both. I had a great day learning a new craft . I recommend the course and will be booking another course with them soon."

"I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and I to do together. Neither of us had worked with stained glass before, but the support and tuition received meant we came away with pieces we were really proud of. Mike and Jenny are great fun to work with and are always very welcoming, keeping you well supplied with tea/coffee and biscuits all day and provide a great lunch at the cafe next door."

"Leaded Garden Panel Workshop - did this workshop on a really hot day last summer. It was just brilliant with lots of one to one instruction, help with colours and unlimited tuition and patience. Am so pleased with the finished panel and love the way it catches the light in the late afternoon sun. Will certainly be signing up for more classes in 2020. Bring it on!!"
