"I purchased the workshop as a present for my 2 daughters and myself. We had a great day. The workspace was cosy and the group is small so you get plenty of tuition. Alice is lovely and a great teacher. We have learnt how to,produce a weaving from start to finish so we can now practice at home. We are planning for more workshops to progress further and produce more advanced weavings"

"Absolutely loved the hand weaving course with Alice! I learnt so much and it was what I had hoped for, for my first try at hand weaving. I came home very happy and energised with a new wall-hanging for my home. I also bought one of Alice’s hand-made looms so I can continue to create at home. "This course is great for anyone who wants a solid introduction to frame loom weaving. Alice is a patient teacher and guided us through the basic techniques. I felt the day really opened up a whole host of possibilities with weaving. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The studios were warm and with the small class size you really were able to learn quickly and get assistance from Alice at each step. I would highly recommend this course. I am planning on returning for the advanced class in the new year."

"Lovely premises and delightful small group. Having never tried weaving the outcome was surprisingly good which I’ll atrinute to Alice’s teachings. She was patient, helpful and insightful. Enjoyed so much that I have completed a few more since. Would also recommend buying the loom from Alice too it’s a sturdy piece and a manageable size."

"Once again I cannot praise Alice enough, having attended her Introduction to Loom Weaving a few weeks ago I was itching to get stuck into the macrame course! Beautiful calm environment, fabulous coffee and highly influential teaching. I was so sad to leave as I’d gotten used to coming each week to learn something new! I’ve learnt so much valuable information from Alice herself, let alone her workshops. I could go on for hours, I cannot recommend her enough. She’s fantastic."
