I had such a lovely, cosy afternoon with Maria learning to crochet. She was very patient, lovely to chat to and put me at ease straight away. She gave me lots of tips and even hand written reminders to take away with me. It was just like sitting with a friend in front of the log burner having a natter. Highly recommended and good for the soul :)

Response from The Lemon Hound:Thank you so much Belinda! I hope the crochet is going well? :)
I had been wanting to learn to crochet for many years. Marie made this experience very enjoyable for a complete novice! She was friendly and very patient! Her instructions were clear and it was brilliant to see examples of what could be achieved. The setting is lovely and the log burner, cups of tea and biscuits added to the whole experience. I will definitely go back to try out some of Marie’s other courses.
Thank you for a great afternoon,

I have had a fun and enjoyable afternoon learning how to crochet with Maria at the Lemon Hound in Folkestone! It was easy to book the workshop online and Maria was very helpful and responded to my queries promptly. It is a cosy location on the Old High Street in Folkestone, easily accessible and there is a car park nearby. Maria is an excellent teacher! She is friendly and patient, and explains each step very clearly. I would really recommend booking a workshop with her and I will definitely be booking another one soon!

Spent a lovely afternoon making my Christmas wreath with great guidance from Marie. I now have it hanging on my door and it looks far more beautiful than I imagined anything I could make would be! Mince pies and mulled wine, along with Christmassy music playing in the background, just added to the festive feeling.
