"I'm sorry to say, we were here some time ago, kind of end of the summer 2021. I highly recommend participating in this as an activity, Anita was a lovely host and a good instructor. With it only being 2 of us it was easy to keep covid-19 protocols in good place and she was very diligent in this area, using instruments to pass items to us and point things out to us, using masks when social distancing wasn't possible. We had a great time and if we're ever in the area again, I'd definaly to go back."

"We had a great time learning about and making candles with Anita on Saturday. Her class was so much fun and I was so impressed with the beautiful candles we created under Anita's expert tuition. The amount of information she gives you during the class gave me the confidence to make my own candles at home. I will definitely be booking to go back and highly recommend Anita and her fantastic workshop. Thank you Anita for making our weekend so special and fun."

"Highly recommended! I have been on several craft courses over the years and this is the best by far! Learned so much about candle making - really friendly teacher, great location (lovely building). "Spent a truly delightful morning with Anita making containers and tapered candles. The workshop is so informative and fun, and the candles I came home with are so beautiful and smell utterly divine! Anita talks you through everything you’d need to know during the workshop and to carry on at home on your own. The candle alchemist studio is a wonderfully comfortable space and Anita makes such a welcoming atmosphere, you can’t help but fall in love with candle making!"

"We attended the beginners candle making course as a family of 4 ranging from ages 19 to 70 we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Anita is very knowledgable and explains everything in great detail. Her workshop is lovely with excellent facilities. We all left with beautiful candles and extremely were happy."

"I attended this workshop with two friends in September. We all thoroughly enjoyed our morning. Anita was very informative, telling us about the various types of candle making techniques, various types of wax and about the equipment required. We then had a go ourselves and produced a mixture of lovely goodies, having a break for tea and cake in between. Anita encouraged us to do all the candle making ourselves, but was on hand to help if required. I would have no hesitation in recommending this course."

"My friend and I visited Anglesey in September but our visit didn’t coincide with any of Anita’s planned beginners workshops. I emailed to see if she could do one just for the 2 of us and Anita obliged us by arranging this. We had great fun and learned a lot, including the correct way to burn a candle, thank you Anita. The workshop was good value for money and we each left with a box of the different candles we had made. A bonus is that Anita provides refreshments free of charge for people doing a workshop :). I was also able to do some Christmas shopping from the items Anita has available in the studio. A great experience and one I would repeat."

"We absolutely love candles my husband and I, and when we found a leaflet about The Candle Alchemist workshop we thought wowww! So we phoned up and spoke to a lovely lady called Anita who was so helpful. We arrived and was warmly welcomed. As soon as you walked in the sights and smells of the candles were lovely. Anita was lovely and her knowledge was amazing. We absolutely loved it, choosing our colours and fragrances and making candles from scratch. We were so proud of ourselves. It's something for adults and children. A very enjoyable couple of hrs. Definitely recommend it. Thank you Anita and Poppy for a lovely birthday xx"
