"Had a lovely morning with a small group of beginners. Anita is a natural teacher who manages to teach in a relaxed and fun way whilst ensuring that instructions are clear and easy to follow. I made 4 perfect candles and numerous scented tealights. A very enjoyable workshop in a beautiful setting which I would happily recommend to anyone with an interest in candles!"

"Attended with my sister and we made up a small group of 5 students on the beginners workshop. Great teacher who also made it fun! Anita has a real passion and knowledge for her craft, answering all our questions and giving invaluable tips. Bought a candlemaking kit from here and went straight home and began making our own candles. Would definitely visit again!"

"I booked a beginners workshop for my 8 year old daughter and myself, as a fun treat. We had a wonderful time. Anita was very patient and friendly, happy to explain and help my daughter with the more complicated parts, so that I could continue with my candles. She even took charge of my camera to get photos of us both! We started by choosing two colours and two fragrances each. We then dyed the first lot of wax and added the fragrance, which was used to make several tealights. The second batch of wax was then prepared and used for two votives and several wax melts each. These done, we had a break for a drink, slice of cake and a natter with Anita. After the break, we moved onto hand dipping a pair of candles each, which was fantastic. Again, Anita took charge of my daughter to enable me to make mine, which I very much appreciated. By the end of the workshop, we had a box of beautiful candles, a new skill and some very happy memories to take away with us. I would heartily recommend it to anyone and cannot thank Anita enough for the wonderful experience."

"I booked for my girlfriend and myself for her birthday gift. We've been on a few different craft workshops in the past and we both agreed this was the best! Anita has a very easy going nature and her knowledge and encouragement throughout our session made for a great morning. The class is structured really well so you can be creative and achieve some great candles by the end of the session. We made hand dipped candles, scented votives, scented soy wax tealights and wax melts. I would definitely recommend the experience to anyone who loves candles or just wants to learn something new."

"Small class held in an old quaint school room and very easy to follow the instructions. Anita is very friendly , knowledgeable and more than happy to answer questions and give extra help for any thing that is not covered on the day. We had a tea break half way through and were served tea and cake. It was a very enjoyable day."

"Loved this workshop! Attended the beginners workshop with a group of 3 friends on our holiday on Anglesey. We were made very welcome by Anita and learnt all about candle making using different waxes. We all got to choose our own scents and colours and at the end of the session came away with our very impressive looking candles. We all liked that it was very hands-on, Anita is super friendly, and the old schoolroom studio is like something out of Beatrix Potter! Will be coming back in the autumn!"

"Booked a morning candle workshop with a friend and we both found the class very interesting. We were taught how to make a variety of candles and were able to choose the colours and fragrances for ourselves. "Attended beginners course with a friend, was just right length. Learnt about types of wax, different types of candles and the correct way to burn candles. Made some scented tea lights and votive candles, then traditional parrafin wax candles l coloured mine as a rainbow. Also had a lovely refreshment break - tea and cake. "We had a fabulous and very interesting morning making candles and learning about all the different elements of candle making. The studio where it all happens is a fabulous place full of natural light and with a lovely atmosphere. Anita is a very knowledgeable and friendly teacher and you can also buy her artisan gift candles at the studio. "Booked a 1 to 1 candle making course with Anita, which she kindly re- scheduled because of the bad weather. I can only say having been on a few different courses for various things, Anita's style of teaching was the most relaxed and enjoyable. For anyone considering taking up candle making, I think you would struggle to find a better tutor. The location of the Workshop is just the icing on the cake. Anita, once again thank you for the way you encouraged creativity, after having gone through all the basics."

"I attended a 3hr workshop today with Anita and one other attendee. Having had an urge to try candle making for a while, I was thrilled to discover this facility almost on my doorstep. I was not disappointed. During a very relaxed 3 hour session we were able to make our own 'rose' candles, a pillar candle, container candle and wax melts, choosing our own colours and fragrances, with the excellent tuition and guidance of Anita. I will return to try her other workshops throughout the year. I would definitely recommend these workshops as well as a visit to see her own produce which are very different and well made."
