"Pippa is well organised and an experienced and enthusiastic teacher. She used lots of different media and explained how to use them really well. Helped by members of her family she produced tasty food and created a warm and friendly atmosphere. I thoroughly recommend her course for beginners and experienced painters who want to try something different."

Donna O’Reilly reviewed: The art of paper marbling & suminagashi

"Fantastic course and Pippa is such a lovely person and a great teacher. I was so looking forward to learning how to marble and how to address problems that can occur when marbling. I have to say that the day not only met but also exceeded my expectations. We were shown how to Marble, but also how to do Suminagashi. Pippa had obviously planned ahead well and was organised with some lovely surprises on the day that just added a personal touch. Pippa is full of energy, very approachable and answered any questions we posed. The day flew by with us being very hands on, producing various pieces of lovely art work. The course catered for all levels and types of people and I would highly recommend it. It has definitely given me the bug to go home and try and develop my skills further and also look at other courses Pippa runs."

Jane Ward reviewed: The art of paper marbling & suminagashi

"The marbling day with Pippa was inspiring, informative and fun. Pippa took us through the basics of sumagashi then encouraged us to dive right in, then more demonstration and lots of marbling techniques to try. The mix of demonstration, explanation and hands on practice was perfect. Pippa brought a generous selection of materials and tools, with lovely papers and a rainbow of colours to choose from. And there was cake."

"Pippa's paper marbling course was great, just what I wanted. She introduced the basics and got us to dive in very quickly, producing our own work throughout the day. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and good humour were inspiring. Keep up the good work!"

Pauline Birtwell reviewed: The art of paper marbling & suminagashi

"I didn't quite know what to expect from the course as I had not done anything quite like this before and I must say it is one of the most enjoyable courses I have ever attended! Pippa was lovely. She was patient and helpful. She is a creative dynamo- and her enthusiasm is contagious. This course is suitable for the 'nervous and afraid' as well as for people with perhaps more artistic backgrounds- no artistic judgements were made, and all the course participants were politely curious about each others work. For people who learn best by demonstration and are happy to have a go themselves, this course is perfect. I will definitely be trying to recreate the wonderful marbled papers we produced on the course at home."

Roz reviewed: Introduction to Kintsugi

"We joined Pippa's Kintsugi class for a hen party activity last weekend and the whole group had a fantastic time. We were treated to hot drinks and homemade sweet treats on arrival before Pippa taught us the principles of Kintsugi, so that we could apply these to our own creations. She was a clear, patient teacher and was very supportive of the things we produced. To make the hen party even more special, Pippa's friend added some sparkle by beautifully painting our faces with intricate glittery patterns. Best of all, the bride-to-be was thrilled with the whole experience. Thank you so much Pippa!"

As someone who is not at all artistic, Pippa's teaching style and meticulous attention to detail in the preparation of resources ensured that I felt really delighted with the art work I produced. The pace of the day was just right and the amazing cakes provided as part of the experience were above and beyond what I think any of us expected. I have come home feeling thoroughly uplifted and inspired. Thank you!"

"A superb course with such a simple yet profound philosophy of mending something broken in a beautiful delicate way. I loved that we had the opportunity to continue the theme in different ways - pottery, paper, thread... Pippa is so enthusiastic and a great teacher. Thoughtful extras like envelopes for cards, the little sewing kit, a bag, tissue paper... Would love to do a follow on course"

"I have to say,the course was excellent. Lovely teacher, felt so comfortable being in the class ,and learning the art of Kintsugi . Knowing that no matter what happens in our life, where we may feel broken and hurt that we can learn so much from our trials and can even benefit from them. The gold that we seek in the pottery together is the golden nuggets we gain from our trials. Thank you so much Pippa, you were amazing.!!!"
