Laura reviewed: Tree of Hearts Mixed Media Workshop, Gainsborough

"I had an absolutely amazing experience on my Tree of Hearts Workshop. It had been booked as a gift and I can honestly say it didn’t disappoint. From the warm welcome and cup of tea, to the lovely homemade cakes it was a real treat. Sharon is an excellent tutor and guided us through the class to produce a stunning piece of framed work. I shall be checking out her latest classes to book on another class. Thanks for a special day x"

Mrs Elaine Fox reviewed: Mindful Embroidery for Beginners Lincolnshire

"Terrible service. Emails not answered. No contact phone number. Tried to cancel due to illness but was told no cancellations after 4 weeks... I only booked 3 weeks before! I was allowed to carry my money to another course but this was wrong because the course i had originally booked onto was cancelled anyway! I tried contacting to get my money back but as usual no reply! This is no way to run an organisation. Disgusted, disgruntled never to be again customer. Bet I lose my £36.00"

Beehive Wellbeing responded:

"Good Evening Elaine, We are very sorry you are disappointed with the service you think we offer. We try very hard to provide a really personal touch, good quality teaching and experiences on all our workshops. You will see on Craft Courses we have a gold rating and are very close to receiving a platinum level for our courses and the amount of 5 star reviews we receive. We have many happy and returning customers that attend and book further workshops. We do have a cancellation policy like many other businesses that does not allow you to cancel close to the workshop date. If we did not have this in place we would have people cancel on the day and lose money. As a small business this is not viable and would impact our ability to run further workshops."

Cate reviewed: Introduction to Soap Making Workshop with Afternoon Tea, East Yorkshire.

"Highly recommend this course, interesting and informative with a small enough group that everyone could have hands on help if needed. I’ve held off reviewing because I brought ingredients away to try another batch of soap at home and wanted to see if I’d learnt enough to do it. I’m really happy with batch two too! Thanks Sharon, it was well worth the long (covid) wait!"

Beehive Wellbeing responded:

"?Thank you Cate for a wonderful review, I’m so pleased you enjoyed your workshop and the long covid wait was worth it. You have clearly mastered soap making doing another batch at home, I’m sure you will now have a nice supply. I try really hard to make all our workshops a fabulous learning experience in small groups as well as an enjoyable day out. It’s important to me that my workshops have that personal touch. I’m sure we will see you at another workshop soon. Kind regards Sharon ?"

"Great fun and very informative. Sharon was friendly and knowledgeable, the kit provided contained nice equipment and plenty of materials, and the workshop gave us plenty of time to work at our own pace. I went away with lots of ideas for making more melts! It was a really enjoyable way to celebrate a friend's birthday remotely."

Dawn Hobbs reviewed: Wax Melt Workshop Online

"As a beginner it would have been useful to know where and what products to buy"

Beehive Wellbeing responded:

"Thank you for our 4 stars Dawn, I am glad you enjoyed the workshop. I am unsure if you lost internet connection when we discussed the products we were using and where to buy them. We discussed the weight and percentage of both the wax and the fragrance oil you were using, including the minimum and maximum load of fragrance. We discussed the benefits of different waxes and had demonstrations of the different waxes available and how they react differently. We discussed where you can buy them, including reading the reviews. We also chatted about moulds where I had bought mine including the site and the types of designs available as well as the downside of less solid designs. If you do have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to come back to us. We have a gold rating for our workshops with craft courses and always aim to provide a good service."

Ruth Elliott reviewed: Wax wrap workshop with tea and cake, East Yorkshire.

"The course went well. There was a good choice of fabrics and we certainly learnt how to make the wraps. Plenty of refreshments. Tutor waffled a little and we had to wait around a bit for equipment to warm up and queue for the irons. Other than this it would have been Excellent. Very good value."

Pauline Hooper reviewed: Introduction to Soap Making Workshop with Afternoon Tea in Lincolnshire

"I really enjoyed Sharon's soapmaking course. Sharon is friendly and knowledgeable about her craft. The course was a good taster whether you're interested as a hobby or considering for a small business addition. The tools and ingredients were mostly storecupboard items - although the colours and fragrances were purchased in. Ideas were abundant! It was good to have to weigh out our own ingredients on the day. The group size was about right, nice friendly like-minded ladies ? and lunch was a nice touch too, whilst our soaps set. We each took home 2 soaps to cut the following day and there were kits available to purchase. I can't wait to do the swirl soap workshop next! Either workshop makes a lovely gift idea."

Melanie French reviewed: Introduction to Soap Making Workshop with Afternoon Tea in Lincolnshire

"Sharon who runs this course is very helpful and friendly. Her soap making course is a good introduction if you are wanting to make soap at home as a hobby or if you are thinking of possibly starting a home based business and wondering if this is the thing for you. She provides all the equipment needed including colours and essential oils. It was nice for it to be a small group and the other ladies were lovely. The Afternoon tea was yummy and there was a varied selection to choose from. It was worth the drive from Barton upon Humber and would attend another of Sharon's courses. It was definitely value for money and cheaper than a lot of other courses I have seen advertised. Sharon also sells kits at a reasonable price which includes all of the ingredients weighed out as well as the protective goggles."

Alison Honeyford reviewed: Introduction to Soap Making Workshop with Afternoon Tea in Lincolnshire

"This was a lovely course run by Sharon who was friendly and helpful throughout. All equipment was provided and there were plenty of colours and fragrances to choose from for our soaps. Afternoon tea is a lovely touch while we wait for our soaps to harden. I live in the Cotswolds but attend the course in Lincoln as it was so much better value than ones local to me. I would definitely recommend this course as a great starter to soap making. Sharon also sells kits that you can take home with you with all of the ingredients weighed out which is really helpful. If you're thinking of attending it may be worth talking to Sharon about bringing your own moulds to avoid an over use of plastic."

"Thank you Sharon, for a very interesting day. Excellent venue, lovely lunch, and a great atmosphere, totally conducive to learning.
