Great fun and very informative. Sharon was friendly and knowledgeable, the kit provided contained nice equipment and plenty of materials, and the workshop gave us plenty of time to work at our own pace. I went away with lots of ideas for making more melts! It was a really enjoyable way to celebrate a friend's birthday remotely.
Really fun and engaging session! It was well-presented and easy to understand, plus Sharon was happy to answer any questions we had. I also appreciated getting so much of the equipment and materials posted for the session, since now I can make more in the future :)
As a beginner it would have been useful to know where and what products to buy
Response from Pink Blossom Crafts:Thank you for our 4 stars Dawn, I am glad you enjoyed the workshop. I am unsure if you lost internet connection when we discussed the products we were using and where to buy them. We discussed the weight and percentage of both the wax and the fragrance oil you were using, including the minimum and maximum load of fragrance. We discussed the benefits of different waxes and had demonstrations of the different waxes available and how they react differently. We discussed where you can buy them, including reading the reviews. We also chatted about moulds where I had bought mine including the site and the types of designs available as well as the downside of less solid designs. If you do have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to come back to us. We have a gold rating for our workshops with craft courses and always aim to provide a good service.
Lovely workshop, fully explained the process and how to look after the wraps afterwards. Lots of lovely fabric to choose from as well as tea and cake. My 3rd workshop with Sharon now, I can’t recommend her workshops enough, brilliant value every time.
The course went well. There was a good choice of fabrics and we certainly learnt how to make the wraps. Plenty of refreshments. Tutor waffled a little and we had to wait around a bit for equipment to warm up and queue for the irons. Other than this it would have been Excellent. Very good value.
I enjoyed my afternoon. Everything was pleasant and I learnt a few new things. as well as meeting new people. I have completed my picture at home.
Response from Pink Blossom Crafts:Thank you for the lovely review Dianne, please send us a photo. x
A happy afternoon with new friends. Learnt lots of new stitches and techniques that I've been practicing at home. Practice makes perfect. Haven't stopped sewing.
Response from Pink Blossom Crafts:Thank you for the lovely review Sue, indeed practice does make perfect. I'm glad you are enjoying it. x
Thank you, had such a lovely day at this course. The workshop was really enjoyable and Sharon was very friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea was fantastic too! Will definitely book more courses.

Sharon is a lovely, chatty, open tutor. She puts a lot of effort in to the detail of the course, which is enjoyable, entertaining, informative and value for money. Thank you!
Response from Pink Blossom Crafts:Thank you Thirza, nothing more worse than a dull workshop. :-) I look forward to seeing you again at another workshop this month. Sharon x
A lovely relaxed introduction to candle making. I'm very pleased with the 2 candles I made and brought home.
Response from Pink Blossom Crafts:Thank you for the review Justine, I look forward to seeing you again on a different workshop this month x
An enjoyable day, learning the basics in candle making. Instruction leaflet given to take home along side two candles and candle melts that were made in the workshop. Sharon was very patient and we didn't feel that you were rushed. Explanation throughout for each process. Lovely atmosphere and a superb lunch and refreshments. The course is perfect for a birthday/Christmas gift, learning how to make candles for gifts or setting up a business. Would definitely recommend this course. Thank you Sharon
Response from Pink Blossom Crafts:Thank you Debbie , that is a lovely review and made me smile. I hope we see you on one of my many other workshops, Sharon xx
What a lovely course this was. Sharon was a very good tutor. I came away with a lot of information. Everyone on the course was very friendly. Class size was just right. And the afternoon tea finished the day off very well.
Really enjoyed this course, Sharon is lovely, very helpful and accommodating. Loved the calm, creative ambience. Access is difficult due to the stairs, if you have disabilities like I have. Would recommend as anybody could have a go and create a lovely item to take home.
I really enjoyed Sharon's soapmaking course. Sharon is friendly and knowledgeable about her craft. The course was a good taster whether you're interested as a hobby or considering for a small business addition. The tools and ingredients were mostly storecupboard items - although the colours and fragrances were purchased in. Ideas were abundant! It was good to have to weigh out our own ingredients on the day.
The group size was about right, nice friendly like-minded ladies 🙂 and lunch was a nice touch too, whilst our soaps set. We each took home 2 soaps to cut the following day and there were kits available to purchase. I can't wait to do the swirl soap workshop next! Either workshop makes a lovely gift idea.
Sharon who runs this course is very helpful and friendly. Her soap making course is a good introduction if you are wanting to make soap at home as a hobby or if you are thinking of possibly starting a home based business and wondering if this is the thing for you. She provides all the equipment needed including colours and essential oils. It was nice for it to
be a small group and the other ladies were lovely. The Afternoon tea was yummy and there was a varied selection to choose from. It was worth the drive from Barton upon Humber and would attend another of Sharon's courses. It was definitely value for money and cheaper than a lot of other courses I have seen advertised. Sharon also sells kits at a reasonable price which includes all of the ingredients weighed out as well as the protective goggles.
This was a lovely course run by Sharon who was friendly and helpful throughout. All equipment was provided and there were plenty of colours and fragrances to choose from for our soaps. Afternoon tea is a lovely touch while we wait for our soaps to harden. I live in the Cotswolds but attend the course in Lincoln as it was so much better value than ones local to me. I would definitely recommend this course as a great starter to soap making. Sharon also sells kits that you can take home with you with all of the ingredients weighed out which is really helpful. If you're thinking of attending it may be worth talking to Sharon about bringing your own moulds to avoid an over use of plastic.
Really interesting and practical course, learned a lot about soap making and the history of it. Learned about a few different techniques too with swirls, layers, adding other ingredients on the top etc.
Would highly recommend this course and the Yorkshire tea was an added bonus :0) great warm scones with jam and cream and I loved the prawn sarnies A+++++
Please do a shampoo bar course and a bath bomb one soon xx
Thank you Sharon, for a very interesting day.
Excellent venue, lovely lunch, and a great atmosphere, totally conducive to learning. I've just arrived home after an evening meal, and the house smells wonderful. I can't wait to slice my soap. I'm already looking forward to making my next batch of soap, and experimenting.
Thanks again, Christine.
Sharon’s informative and interesting approach made for a really enjoyable day.
We learned the basic soap making and then applied our own choice of colour and aroma from a wide choice.
Lovely lunch provided - It was a busy day and we had lots of soap to take home.
All round it was a good day.
This candle course was so nice from start to finish, met some lovely people with plenty of handmade items to bring home. Had a great lunch and now have the info I want to do the soap making.
