Maker's bio

I have been a professional Studio potter for over 20 years since graduation and I have been teaching for all of them, from Degree level, Adult education and latterly, at my workshop in Salhouse. I exhibit Nationally and Internationally and have work in both fine art galleries and galleries specialising in Studio Ceramics. I regularly show at National Ceramic events such as "Potfest".

"Had a lovely two hours with Pat who soon made me feel at ease and demonstrated how to get started with my first pot throwing session. She was both encouraging and patient and had a way with her that was easy to get along with. Pat is clearly a very talented potter and very inspirational. I was pleased with my eventual results and look forward to picking them up. Thank you Pat. "

"Pat was a super teacher - very knowledgeable as well as being very personable. The two hours flew past with plenty of targeted tuition as well as encouragement to try new things as I progressed. I never felt under pressure but she always knew when to step in to put things back on track. A fantastic experience all round - I was even proud of what I'd made! Highly recommended."

"What a fabulous couple of hours, made six pots and all were passable, Pat was brilliant, very patient and explained it all so that I could get on the wheel and make something almost straight away. Wish I lived closer so that I could do it again."
