"100% 5 stars! If you are at all interested in beautiful glass panels, and want to know more... don't wait any longer. Just take a chance and book this course! You won't regret it. The teacher, Brian, is kind, generous, welcoming and approachable... and clearly knows the subject inside out. I arrived, excited but a little apprehensive, because I have no artistic abilities whatsoever, and without a clue about the processes involved! I left with a panel that I will treasure and be very proud to display in my home. I've already shown the photos to most friends. All in all, a thoroughly rewarding experience. "

"I've never tried working with stained glass before but after 2 days with Brian I'm hooked! The setting was perfect, bright, relaxed and plenty of room. "I could not recommend this enough! Brian is a great tutor who really helps you create a design you will love. He has art books on hand to inspire & so many of his own incredible makes around the beautiful building you cant help but feel creative. I have never done any glass work before and have come away with a wonderfully sizable piece (aprox 130cm by 30cm) which I'm incredibly proud of and know my friends visiting the garden will love (and probably be slightly jelous of). The price of this course, for the amount you learn, the final piece you can create and the fun you will have, is worth every penny and much more! You can also buy some unique handmade pieces like jewellery and cocktail stirrers which he sells online but getting to see them in real life (without extra postage) is a special treat. Thanks so much for a wonderful few days!"

"What an amazing two days! I had looked forward to this course for a while and was definitely not disappointed. I believe that its success is down to the relaxed and calm atmosphere created in this gorgeous little building by Brian. He has the patience of a saint and has a knack of gently guiding you through the process without taking over. Luckily he also has a good sense of humour which is essential at times! I even had a private little corner where I could eat my lunch or curse quietly if things were not quite going to plan! Thank you Brian for teaching me so much about the process in such a short time. I shall definitely be back!"

"I'd been interested in learning to glass paint for a while and found this course during lockdown. I attended the course as soon as the restrictions were lifted. Brian's keen attention to the social distancing protocols meant that I felt safe to spend the day in the chapel — a light, airy and well equipped space, perfect for the class. Brian has a relaxed, patient and informative teaching style and I would highly recommend a day in the chapel studio to create some amazing pieces of art. I now feel confident to have a go at scraffito glass painting myself and plan to go back to the chapel for another course soon."

"I have enjoyed every minute of Brian’s fantastic course, making a stained-glass panel which has far exceeded my expectations. If I could give more than 5* I would. He is a first -class teacher, guiding his students through all steps of the process, from original design through glass cutting, leading up, soldering and polishing, in a calm, unhurried way with good humour, tea and biscuits thrown in. He always goes the extra mile to assist you in making sure that your initial ideas are brought to fruition. His studio (in a small chapel building) is in a quiet location – a sanctuary of peace and creativity where you are surrounded by some of Brian’s amazing creations to inspire you. I am already planning for the next course and can’t wait to get started. If you have even only a slight interest, I would urge you to take the plunge and do this course. You will not regret it."

"A fabulous course. I bought a weekend course for my mum as a birthday/christmas present and had to go with her of course! Brian is an excellent teacher and without really knowing it he helped us convert our ideas into a great bespoke piece over the course of the weekend.
