"Denny was extremely helpful from fitting in an extra person very last minute to giving us instruction and advice to enable us as total beginners to complete pieces of work. We were given access to lots of materials and encouragement to learn to use new tools so each of us got the most out of this course. "Really enjoyed the course with Denny last night was a bit like a rabbit in headlights to start with, but she was very encouraging helping everybody out and really had some inspirational ideas. I would definitely recommend this to anybody wanting to have a go at Mosaics the refreshments were also very yummy. I will be back again."

"A lovely way to spend a Saturday. The space is inviting with lots of examples of Denni’s work to inspire you, although Denny is inspirational enough to give you a very informative introduction to working on mosaics and the endless possibilities of working this way . "

"Denny's one day beginners' mosaic course was a really valuable experience. Denny herself was very welcoming, helpful and encouraging. Cutting tiles is tricky so don't be over-ambitious as practising this single skill is very useful. Denny generously offers the use of a wide variety of mosaic material, doesn't impose ideas but gently guides. It was, for me, an ideal day for a complete novice. "

"I went with Catherine to the above workshop - Christmas present from Catherine to me! It was such an enjoyable day. We learnt lots, had fun mosaic-ing - it's completely absorbing - and we're quite impressed with the results of our efforts 🙂. Denny welcomed us warmly, the atmosphere throughout the day was calm and relaxing - and we were treated to homemade cakes - twice!! - which were utterly delicious! I thoroughly recommend this workshop, it would be impossible not to enjoy it. We loved it 😊, thank you Denny."

"We had an absolutely fantastic day on Denny's beginner's workshop. Everything was perfectly organised and we had so much fun creating our 2 pieces with Denny's help and kind encouragement. We were both very impressed and proud with how much we were able to achieve despite being complete beginners. The day was made even better by the delicious homemade cakes and the presence of lovely Daisy the dog! Thank you so much Denny, we had a really wonderful day."

"You are met by Denny with coffee and home made cake. Delicious. You first do a sample to get a feel for it. Then on to your project. Denny is an amazing tutor. Patient, informative and helpful. "We had the best day doing this workshop!! Denny is an amazing teacher and host, and makes excellent vegan gluten free fudge cake too! :-) Everything was so well explained and we got to practice cutting and laying our tiles (and grouting our artwork when the glue was dry) by making coasters before starting our main pieces. It was a really relaxing time; we found mosaic-ing to be a very calming, mindful activity! We got comprehensive notes to take home, plus some extra materials so we could finish off our pieces at home - we’re already looking online to order our own tools and tiles to create more mosaics! We also loved meeting beautiful Daisy the dog. Highly recommend this course!"

"Absolutely fantastic, I loved every minute and learned more than enough to get me started to make some of my own pieces. Denni was so patient and knowledgeable and you couldn't help but be inspired by her many amazing pieces around the house, my mind was an explosion of ideas for that day and for the future. We were given very useful, comprehensive notes and some tiles to take away with us and Denni gave me couple of little bits I liked on the day too. The cake was delicious and ensured we took a couple of small breaks! Mosaicking is highly addictive, when you start you do not want to stop, that is definitely true! Such a good value course in every respect, I will go back to learn more, in the meantime, anyone reading this should just book a place on Denni's course, you will not be disappointed, it is the best money I have spent on something for myself. Enjoy!"

"My friend Rebecca and I had a wonderful day at the Beginners Mosaic Workshop and came away with two surprisingly professional looking pieces....a practice coaster and individual wall art in a frame. We were both delighted! Denny is warm, friendly and calm. She immediately put us at ease and treated us to a very informative day. She has a huge variety of materials to choose from and we left with skills and confidence to have another go at mosaic at home. The tea/coffee and home made cake was a bonus!
