"A really fun day. Richard is lovely and knowledgable. Did this course to celebrate mine and my husband’s 3rd (leather) wedding anniversary. I made a leather bracelet and my husband a belt. His workshop is at the back of his house and he’ll offer you drinks and biscuits. Item made look really professional"

"Richard Williamson is a master of his craft, considerate and thorough as a teacher with assured encouragement and patience, allowing one to feel creative and dextrous on top of which you come away with a piece of leatherwork that is and feels natural and just right, embodying a sense of longevity. I have to say I have fulfilled a dream and sated my passion in one day and can look at my work and feel truly proud and accomplished. I would recommend anyone to spend a day with Richard and fashion their dream. This is a marvellous course."

"Richard was very patient and knowledgeable man. My fellow trainee and I made two fab leather belts. I made a few errors but Richard helped to correct them so I ended the session with a beautiful leather belt that I can be proud of. Included coffee and biscuits too!"

Working with vegetable tanned leather was really interesting, and burnishing the edges was not something I knew about, and also learnt a lot about whats involved in creating a special design belt. "I had a fabulous time doing the leather workshop. I found the facts about leather really interesting and I learnt a lot. I had great fun making my card holder/wallet and with Richard's excellent guidance and patience I ended up with a beautiful and durable card holder which I am very proud of. I am not a creative or artistic person so I had my doubts as to whether I was going to be able to make anything worth keeping but the instructions were very clear, the tools to complete the products were all there and explained to us so I had no difficulties making my card holder/wallet. I can recommend this course to anyone regardless of their level. I can't wait to do another course."
