"This is a great short course if you want to learn about leather and get the feel of how to make small leather items such as a card holder or purse or key ring. The rivet technique is a great thing to learn if you want to make a few items at home and is very simple and easy to grasp, once you know how. Richard was a great teacher and happy to answer all my questions, I will definitely going back again to another class to learn some more techniques and make something new."

"This course was brilliant! Richard is very knowledgeable about leatherwork and he was a great teacher. We were able to choose from a range of leathers and a variety of bag styles. He then took us through each step, including cutting the leather, burnishing the edges, fixing the hardware, and saddle stitching. I learned a lot over the course of the day and I came away with an amazing bag that I will use for years to come. As the leather and hardware are included in the price, it is excellent value for money. I highly recommend this course with Richard."

Richard is a great teacher, very patient and very generous with his knowledge, he even gave me advice on how to restore a damaged leather bag that has sentimental value for a friend. We both enjoyed the day tremendously! If you are thinking of booking a course with Richard, don’t hesitate, you’ll have a great day and come away with a lovely piece of leather work. When I took our tote bags to work they caused quite a stir and a sizeable amount of envy with several people asking if I would sell them!
