"This is the second course I've done with Jack Raven Bushcraft, the first was flint knapping and primitive glues. Both courses were interesting and fun to learn. The cosy woodland camp with campfire and kettle creates a relaxing and friendly place to learn. The whole net making process was explained well, from choosing the right tools, to creating the net and the common mistakes to avoid. We also had plenty of time to practice (with help if we needed it). I was really pleased with my net and can't wait to experiment further at home. Thanks :)

Jack Raven Bushcraft responded:
"Hi Liz,
Thanks for coming along and also for taking the time to leave a lovely review. Glad that you were pleased with your net!"
"I had such a great time making little coiled baskets. It feels good to learn a traditional craft which has been practiced by our ancestors for millennia and also nice to meet interesting, like minded people.
The course was well prepared and planned and I was glad that alternative arrangements to hold it inside were possible as the weather forecast had been appalling. "
Jack Raven Bushcraft responded:
"Hi Beverley,
We're glad that you enjoyed your time with us and thanks for leaving a review."
"What a superb course, Billy was a great tutor. Great atmosphere, good company and I learnt tonnes of new skills to lift my bushcraft knowledge to the next level. Thank you so much. "
Jack Raven Bushcraft responded:
"Hi Simon,
Glad you enjoyed the course and thanks for taking the time to leave a review."
"Excellent course with enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructors. Was able to make a lovely notebook cover which looks wonderful and all my own work. Would thoroughly recommend as a first step in leatherwork."
Jack Raven Bushcraft responded:
"Thanks for your review and we're glad you enjoyed the course."
