Michelle gives time to all her students and offers suggestions, advice and useful tips throughout the day. Even if you can't finish your project on the day she makes sure you have enough materials to complete at home."

"I attended this course and had a superb day learning a new craft. Michelle was a great teacher putting everyone at ease, at no time did I feel rushed or ignored. Michelle was there to answer any questions and step in if anyone got stuck on their next move. I would thoroughly recommend this course to everyone. The only downside is that I now have to find some room for my new craft supplies !"

"I went with a friend not really knowing what needle felting was all about, we had the most lovely day learning from Michelle who was an excellent teacher in a lovely setting. We were both amazed with what we were able to produce in a relaxed atmosphere. The lunch , cake and coffee were a welcome, tasty addition. I would highly recommend this course to anyone, you will be amazed what you take home and the skills to carry on and be creative at home. I will certainly be booking again!"

"What a brilliant day! I'm a complete craft klutz but Michelle was so patient, encouraging and skilful that by the end of the day I was thrilled to take home a delightful Herbert the Hare. Everything about the day was wonderful - choice of location (the very lovely Lapstone shopping centre), refreshments, company and of course the felt-knitting. Never done anything like this before and found it very absorbing and satisfying. An outstandingly enjoyable day. Am looking forward to doing more of Michelle's courses and will encourage my friends to take part as well."

"A well-organised class in a great location. The pace of the learning was great and because of the smaller group numbers, everyone could progress at their own comfort level. "I spent a really enjoyable day on this course at Lapstone yesterday. It was the second time I have attended one of Michelle's courses (last one 5 months ago) and I learnt as much the second time as I did the first! Once again, I came away with a lovely felted friend, this time a hare. Excellent value (discount for second attendance!) and sooo therapeutic! No artistic ability needed (lucky for me!) as we are taken patiently through each of the stages. Highly recommended."

"This is a fabulous course for beginners as well as more advanced students. Everyone is given a generous bag with all the tools and materials required to make their designated piece (plus plenty of wool to make a second piece at home). I wanted to make a budgie, which Michelle had not made before. She was so organised she had made a version of one before the course to show me the possibilities including coming up with clever ideas for the claws. At home I was able to use the techniques to fiddle and play and change my bird to further improve his shape and features. The hares, fox, dog, cat, rabbits made in class were of incredible standard. I was really impressed. I would like to do more! Puffin?!"

I was surprised at the excellent level everyone on the course achieved. We also had lovely refreshments and lunch provided and came home with a complete felting kit as part of our fee for the course. "Had the best time on this course which was bought for me as a Christmas gift. I'd fallen in love with Michelle's creations at a Christmas Fair and was really looking forward to the workshop. Not being particularly crafty I was hooked from the moment we started. It's so addictive and the day went so quickly, I didn't want to go home! Michelle is a fantastic teacher, and being part of a small group meant you get lots of personal tuition. I am so proud of my hare, and am already planning my next felt project! Course location is excellent, very friendly folk at Trumpet Tea Rooms with lovely lunch and cake!"
