"I was bought this workshop as a gift and was the only attendee that morning which meant I had 1 to 1 tuition and loads of help which I think is amazing for the price. I enjoyed creating in the cozy workshop with my tea and homemade cake and made a piece just as lovely as I’d hoped. I’d recommend this course to anyone, it was very accessible and personable."

"Really had a fabulous day with Jill, I knew nothing about fused glass and by the end of the day I have taken on board all the skills I have been shown, it’s been such a great experience and so absorbing and relaxing. I simply can not wait for my glass to be baked in the kiln to see the end results. Will definitely do another workshop in the near future Thanks you so much Jill for you time and sharing your knowledge I have really loved the day"

"I had the Best day with John and Jill. Both J & J are lovley people, and run their course with great care making every effort to make your day with them as enjoyable as possible. They patiently take you through all your options for glass fusing/slumping projects, and their knowledge and Skill in the glass arts is awesome!! Jill took lots of time to answer our questions, and was always there to reasure at each step. Their hand made Chocolates, excellant Barista coffee, home made cake, and the cooked lunch was a wonderful suprise. They are not only smashing hosts, their whole approach to life and following a different path post retirement, is frankly inspiring. I want to return and learn more. I do a bit of stainglass work, and Jill has had a possitive effect on my glass cutting technique. I learnt so much. Overall a day with these guys is A++ Book with them, you will not regret it."

"I can't recommend this course enough. Not only the chance to try a new craft or build on existing skills but also because Jill and John are so very welcoming and look after everything to make your day extra special. The high quality coffees and hand crafted cakes and chocs really help to put the gold ribbon on things. Whether this is your first time being creative with glass or your 101st time Jill can give you all the support - both practical and artistic - you need. They are both very easy to spend the day with and cook up a 'proper' hot lunch for you. Don't hesitate to book up."

"I had a great day working with Gill in her garden workshop. I had never worked with glass before but was reassured by the excellent teaching and support I was given and thoroughly enjoyed working on a couple of projects - one a stand alone piece and the other a lantern requiring 4 panels. Gill gave me ideas and helped me achieve a better standard than otherwise possible. Lunch was tasty and gave me the energy needed to see me through the afternoon session I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in trying glass working. Thank you both so much."

Jill and John are so kind and wait till I tell you about the chocolate cake.... boom best ever. Jill made me feel I could acheive what I wanted to - I dont dream too big but what I made looked flipping fantastic or so I thought - I made a big effort to get there from Belfast and it was worth it. "What a wonderful experience! I'd never tried working with glass before, but I couldn't have had a better teacher than Jill. She was so patient and really listened to what I wanted to achieve, and helped me to find a simple and effective approach suitable to my skillset that allowed me to create the projects I wanted to make. I achieved so much more than I thought I could! It was also so inspiring to see the fantastic art that she and other students have created and gave me all sorts of ideas for what I might do on a second excursion (because I have a feeling there will be one!) She and John are also spectacular cooks and hosts. We stayed for 2 nights very reasonable B&B. The accommodation was so comfortable and the food was incredibly tasty - no surprise when Jill also runs some great chocolate courses! I'm sure not every CraftCourse is this good, so I feel quite privileged to have had the chance to learn from Jill and spend a day in her company creating beautiful, pretty things. Definitely worth trying!"

"I knew nothing about working with glass prior to one day course but Jill provides just the right amount of instruction and guidance. She really listens to what you want to achieve and encourages you to be creative. It is well worth thinking about what to make in advance as options are varied and flexible. The day course provides plenty of time for the experience to feel relaxed and therapeutic and the home-cooked food was high quality and delicious."

"Just finished our third workshop with the amazingly talented Jill. This time is was a half day to complete a lantern, which we did as well as a tea light and a wave glass. Jill is a very clear teacher who has infinite patience and great ideas. Offers help if needed but never interfers. I would highly recommend this course, no previous experience needed and you end up with beautiful pieces. Oh and she has scrummy homemade chocolates!"
