Her sessions range widely so that one week, for example, we looked at essentials in the home and another week we looked at the colour purple. Her knowledge of art history lets her offer us different ideas and helps to spark our own thinking before we put pencil or brush to paper. My skill has really grown since I first started classes with her."

"I attended this course in 2019. It is a superb venue with inspiring views out of every window. We were able to explore the landscape to make sketches and photographs. I particularly enjoyed the slate mine and abandoned cottages. Donna demonstrated a variety of expressive styles and media for us to create our own interpretations. It was good to share our ideas and discuss plans over wonderful meals together. The constantly changing cloudscape out of the windows or outside on a bench, gave wonderful moments of reflection. I travelled by train to Bangor, then collected by Donna, which was very good for a non- car owner."
