"Rebecca's beginners workshop was a wonderful introduction to the craft. Just run with two of us on it so plenty of time to be guided and ask qiestions. Looms were already set up so we had time to actually weave but Rebecca gave us a clear explanation of the steps and work inbolved in setting up so we had a good idea of what that would involve if we wanted to do more in the future. The manual which R gave use was again very helpful and clear. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning, the 3 of us had a lovely chat and I came away with a food sampler and an urge to buy a loom! Also.good biscuits :-)"

She took us through the process of setting up a loom in easy to follow steps and supported this with an excellent written guide for when we start out on our own. "I loved this course ! Rebecca is a calm and competent tutor who clearly explained each step of the processes before setting us to work. I had tried a bit of weaving in the past, learning from books, but it quickly became clear that a real-life teacher is a MUCH more effective way of learning. Rebecca's studio is in a very peaceful part of the Surrey countryside and after two days in the studio I left feeling relaxed and very pleased with the piece of fabric I had produced. "I signed up to the Beginners Weaving Workshop to learn a bit more about the process of weaving and making your own fabric. Rebecca expertly guided us through the basic mechanics, terminology and art of weaving, without bombarding or overwhelming us with technical jargon. She is an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher and rather than feeling like we were being led through the motions, we were gently encouraged to have a go, be creative and experiment. The atmosphere was relaxed yet industrious and the three hours flew by. I have come away with a one-of-a-kind piece of handwoven fabric and the urge to weave again!
