"I received my weaving workshop as a Christmas present from my husband. It only took a few hints for him to get the idea! I'd seen Rebecca at Farnham Maltings and her enthusiasm for weaving fired my curiosity. I wasn't disappointed! I spent a delightful morning learning to weave at Rebecca's studio. I'm very happy with the fabric I created and plan to make it into a unique makeup bag as soon as time permits!"

The workshop was everything it promised to be and more - very relaxing and therapeutic but also exciting to learn a new skill and see the colours and textures develop on the loom. Rebecca is a fantastic tutor and very encouraging; I came away with a sample of my work, a great sense of achievement and a desire to learn more. I highly recommend the workshop - and it is a fabulous present!"

"We first met Rebecca at Farnham Maltings, displaying her wonderful wares. I subsequently ordered a beautiful lampshade for my daughter’s Christmas present. This was personally delivered by Rebecca, who was concerned about the reliability of the post. Thank you! My daughter and I then spent an interesting morning with Rebecca, which flew past, learning to weave on an 8 saddle loom. We had only woven on simple looms before, so were excited to produce some great patterns, the diagonal being my favourite. As the looms were already warped up, after some instruction, we could move onto weaving our samples. Of course, we are now eager to learn how to warp up the loom. Another workshop seems to be on the cards or perhaps the purchase of a Louet! Thank you Rebecca for inspiring us!"

"Having already attended the beginners course with Rebecca, this was a great follow on. There was a lot of information to take in, but Rebecca made it easy to follow and understand. I left feeling that the many of the mysteries of how a hand loom is set up and how the whole process of weaving works had been explained. It was a lovely couple of days; wish it had been longer as it is a great way to spend time. I am looking to buy my own loom and I know that Rebecca will be available with help and advice."

"A wonderful course with a relaxed yet productive atmosphere. Rebecca explained everything really well and answered our questions fully. We were able to explore many different weaving patterns to produce our take home sample. Rebecca's wealth of experience in terms of weaving and teaching shone through to help us iron out minor hiccups we had made and thus enable us to spot our own errors later. Her own work is stunning!"

"The three hour morning as an introduction to weaving was fantastic, Rebecca was inspiring and she made it so interesting. She touched on setting up the looms and within the first hour we were weaving ourselves and it was very rewarding to come home with a piece of handmade fabric. "My wife and I had a super time with Rebecca, everything was well prepared for our basic's weaving session. Rebecca made us very welcome and quickly put us at ease. It did not takes us long to start producing interesting weaving (my pattern was a bit more obscure !) We are now keen to try out the loom we have and build on the very good instruction Rebecca gave, she made it so easy to follow. We would recommend having a look at the lamp shades Rebecca makes , they are superb. We are hoping to have 2 made to fit it exactly with our new lounge decor . Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who fancies a try at weaving. B & G"

"I'm now TOTALLY hooked on weaving after completing this course, and can't wait to go back for the intermediate course. Rebecca's course has the balance between theory and practical just right -she is really informative whilst giving plenty of time for actual weaving and experimenting with different designs. "This is another fantastic course offered by Rebecca. Rebecca took us through the whole process of setting up a loom. I was fortunate enough to have my own loom and warping mill and to be able to do the entire process in practise was just amazing. Having done the Beginner's course previously I was under no illusion that process of setting up your own loom was the difficult part, but Rebecca made it very easy - everything was explained in detail and with great patience. I am absolutely hooked and can't wait to finish the scarf that I will have done on my own (with Rebecca's help, of course) and then move onto my next project. Whilst it is still a little daunting with the accompanying detailed course notes, I am confident that I can. Thank you Rebecca, you have inspired me to take up a new hobby which I am absolutely passionate about. I can't recommend Rebecca highly enough!"

"I attended the two day Intermediate weaving course, and it was perfect for me! Rebecca took me through the whole process of setting up a loom, which I had never done before, and then taught me how to read the notation for various types of fabric which I wove as a sample piece. Every step was explained with great clarity, and through demonstrations, but mostly through guiding my own hands-on work. She hit the perfect balance between allowing me to get on with it myself, whilst being immediately on hand when I needed help! She was very skilled at turning my mistakes into learning opportunities, and I now feel confident to have a go at weaving on my own!"

"This course was a relaxed and fun way to spend a morning. The cosy studio was full of bright and varied yarns to choose from, Rebecca had done the hard work in setting up the looms for us, so all we had to do was learn the basics and enjoy playing with colour and pattern. We left with a piece of woven wool each, which we had made and that we can make into something to remind us of the day. I had no idea I would find weaving so fascinating and relaxing! Great experience, and the biscuits were very nice :-)"

"What a wonderful morning! Rebecca was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The looms were set up to go so we had plenty of time to try different weave patterns and colours, but Rebecca also took us through the process of setting up a loom in detail, giving my fellow trainee and me enough confidence to have a go ourselves. I am not naturally very creative but found it easy to create a piece of fabric which wowed my friends and family! I am now looking to buy my own loom as I enjoyed it so much. If you are wondering whether to give this course a go or not, then dither no more, do it! Thanks Rebecca, it was fabulous xx"

"Jennifer is an excellent teacher. She is super organised and she keeps things moving at the right pace. Even though it can be a little overwhelming at first seeing the loom set up, things become clear just as they need to, so it makes it very suitable for absolute beginners. Before I knew it I was off to the races weaving up a storm. It's such a thrill to see the sample growing and to have such a lovely piece of fabric to take home. I am seriously hooked now. I've just booked in for the intermediate course with Rebecca next year."

"Rebecca's beginners workshop was a wonderful introduction to the craft. Just run with two of us on it so plenty of time to be guided and ask qiestions. Looms were already set up so we had time to actually weave but Rebecca gave us a clear explanation of the steps and work inbolved in setting up so we had a good idea of what that would involve if we wanted to do more in the future. The manual which R gave use was again very helpful and clear. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning, the 3 of us had a lovely chat and I came away with a food sampler and an urge to buy a loom! Also.good biscuits :-)"
