This craft course provider has been awarded Gold status for receiving 10 or more 5 star ratings from previous students.
The Students' Choice award ensures that course providers get recognised for their efforts in the teaching and practice of UK craft.
They also allow tutors to gain valuable feedback on their courses and for new students to find the course that's right for them.
After graduating from the 3D Design course at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005, I moved back to Wales to established a workshop on the family farm near Aberystwyth. I began making wood-fired stoneware pots and my own ash based glazes.
After a few years I moved to the Peak District and set up a new studio and began teaching pottery classes. In 2018 I moved to my current studio in Sowerby Bridge (near Halifax), where I now also make earthenware tiles alongside my wood-fired ceramics.
