Linda Ramsay reviewed: Christmas crafts - Macrame Gnomes, Folded Fabric Star Ornaments, & Christmas Tree Wall Decorations

"A really excellent day, if a bit tiring. Would definitely do another course. It was a friendly and helpful group with lots of offers of tea, coffee, water and biscuits. Great to have some items which were completed on the day, as this is not always the way in some other classes. I came home tired, but very excited to show my handiwork. I will be looking forward to seeing you all again. By the way, I must thank you all for having the fabrics already cut for us."

"My second event here. A warm welcome, a relaxed environment, perfectly paced. Such a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Who'd imagine selvedge edges could be turned into such a desirable object? Do not throw away this wonderful resource! The amount of thought and preparation put into this activity was superb - all guaranteed to make sure everyone achieved. I am looking forward to my next visit in September with my granddaughter. Thank you, Tanya for all the above."

Kirsta Thumm reviewed: Learn to make a Byzantine bracelet

"I thoroughly enjoyed making my Byzantine bracelet and it looks so great that I’ve already had a request to make one for someone else. This was one of the more challenging courses I have done, but we had lots of help and I came away knowing everything I need to continue this craft skill on my own, while also having a fun morning of ‘me’ time."

Craft Circle responded:

"It was lovely to have you at the workshop. It's always nice to learn something new ... stretches your brain in different directions and helps build your creative muscle. Hope to see you again soon, all the best, Tanya"

Margaret reviewed: Sew a fabric covered notebook

"My first time. An absolutely wonderful afternoon. A great deal of thought went in to this. Everything was covered with step by step instructions. Materials carefully arranged on display, giving ideas and easy access. A good supply of materials. It was paced well - with all taking home a completed book cover. Equally, the company was friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere relaxed. The course was inexpensive. I travelled a long way and it was worth it. I've booked 2 more courses, one with my young granddaughter. "
