"I booked Candle by Event for hen party. Sarah and Sally were fantastic and so friendly. Right from booking to the day they were organised and ran the course well. All the Hens argreed it was one the hightlights of the day. Every candle made was then packed up for each hen to take away. We even got to make some for the wedding which is lovely touch. Highly recommend. Thank You Sarah and Sally once again."

"I chose this course as it was competitively priced compared to others i'd seen, particularly those in London. I wasn't disappointed, I was amazed; the course was well planned, organised and we got so much out of it. It took place in a lovely location and the day was so relaxed and fun. I came alone, as did others and everyone had a great time together learning to make the products. Sarah is an excellent teacher and I'm so excited to be making my own candles."

"What a fun and productive way to spend a morning! Sarah is very friendly and encouraging and had structured the session really well. We produced everything from simple tealights, to coloured and fragranced container and non-container candles. My family was impressed with the huge number of candles I made and brought home from a 3 hour course. I am now excited and confident to start making my own candles at home. I would highly recommend this course."

"I have just returned home after the course I attended this morning with Sarah. One word - Superb! She made the morning fly by and I cannot believe how many candles we actually made. She was clear in her explanations of all the processes and within 15 -30mins we had made our first candle. I am now hooked with a capital H!! "“My daughter and her friends had a lovely time making scented candles at her birthday party. Sarah introduced girls to a brief history of candle making. It was interesting and fun for the girls. I can recommend this workshop to every parent who is not quite sure how to organize their child's birthday. It was a very good choice. Emily and her girlfriends enjoyed it entirely and returned home with a selection of colourful and lovely scented candles made by themselves. "I went on a candle-making course ran by Sarah on 24 February. It was my first experience with candle-making but really interesting and fun. First we learnt about all about the different sorts of waxes before trying our hand at making different types of candles. Sarah's clear instructions and waxes readily to hand made the whole process really easy. The group was small enough to ensure everyone could follow what happening and we all enjoyed comparing our results! Thanks Sarah for a great morning."

"I went on the candle making course on 4 February and was delighted in the way in which Sarah who took the class made you feel at ease and also made you feel that you were able to get great results in making the candles. It was a completely relaxed atmosphere with an intimate class which is ideal if you feel self conscious. I will certainly start making my own candles from now on as it has given me the confidence I needed.
