"I cannot recommend this course highly enough! Sarah really made this a very enjoyable and informative session and I am now very keen to go onto her Intermediate course. If you are concerned about keeping social distancing etc, it was laid out to a very high standard - there were clear divisions between groups/face masks/visors and loads of hand gel etc. Course was followed up with an email with all the information you need to continue at home and there is continued support if you need it. "Thoroughly enjoyed this class with my daughter. Sarah had made it a thoroughly safe environment to work in given current covid climate. There was a nice welcome and a nice cup of tea offered. She explained all the stages very well enabling us to create tea lights, pillar candle, floating candles and a tinned candle. She introduced us to adding colour and perfume. I will certainly take home my new knowledge to make candles at home. Thanks Sarah x"

"I had my reservations about signing up for an online craft workshop, but these were soon forgotten once the course started. Sarah's passion for candlemaking is obvious and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I was particularly inspired by Sarah's suggestions on different containers that could be used for candles and a number of bottle tops and other objects have now been upcycled and given a new lease of life."

"I took part in a zoom workshop run by Sarah. She conducted the workshop very professionally. She was also very knowledgable in candle making. Her kit had everything in it and everything was packed well and the wax was all weighted into packages. She guided us step by step how to make each type of candle and gave us some very insightful knowledge on how to pick the right type of wick and how much wax and fragrance to use, and the various types of dye. I had a very enjoyable time learning how to make candles and I would recommend this workshop to anyone who would like to learn a new skill. She is also very helpful and answers question even after the workshop is over. She does not leave you high and dry to figure out things on your own after the workshop. I am happy to have met her as she has been very helpful in my pursuit to learn the skills of candle making."

"Myself and my mum had booked on to a candle course but due to the current pandemic it was obviously cancelled. We took the offer of transferring to this online course and we are so happy we did. We are officially hooked on candle making. The kit comes with all the bits you need and what isn’t in the kit is found around your home for example a measuring jug. A complete printed guide is accompanied by the online videos which gave clear instruction on what we had to do. I cannot wait to try more and play with my new found creative skill. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an intro in to this craft. Thank you Sarah."

"Joined the on-line course 2 weeks ago which was great. Everything arrived perfectly packed prior to the class, and as a complete beginner to candle making I was very excited. Sarah was great, very friendly and she definitely knows her stuff and how to pass on her knowledge to her pupils. We made 3 different types of candles - container, pillar and rolled beeswax and I was so pleased that they all turned out so well. I have already bought more supplies and am experimenting with different wicks, colours, fragrances and containers. Sarah’s Facebook group has also been really helpful and I’m looking forward to joining more online sessions. Thanks to Sarah I am now hooked on making my own candles."

"The kit was excellent and includes a nice variety - a pillar candle, a fragranced container candle and a rolled beeswax candle, so there are three different projects to learn. Dyes and fragrances are also included as well as a handy pan, for double boiling, and thermometer. Sarah is so generous with her knowledge. I've gone back to her to ask her many more questions since the class and she has always been very happy to help with where to get supplies and how to fix some of the problems I've encountered when experimenting with new candle ideas."
