I was interested in making and designing from a very early age and developed my first jewellery range in 2000. I then discovered my love for teaching in 2004 and have been developing my courses ever since. I have a home teaching studio for 1:1 & 1:2 sessions and in 2017 I set up a teaching studio at Yardley Arts where I can teach up to 11 learners.
Qualifications: BA in Designed Metalwork and Jewellery from BCUC and MA Royal College of Art Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.

6 Week Friday Morning Silver Jewellery Making Course With Beccy Gillatt in Yardley Hastings Northamptonshire
"I enjoyed my evening course for sea glass jewellery course. I made 2 pendants and the instructor was very supportive and was available to help solder, bend and just make my pendants look fantastic. It was a great evening learning the techniques."
"This was an excellent course, I learnt so much and Beccy was very knowledgeable and helpful. I came away with a beautiful pendant and would be confident to try wrapping sea glass on my own now. I will be back for more of Beccys course."
"A wonderful class, I can't wait to do more. The venue was perfect, the teaching was clear and supportive. We are given everything to make some some beautiful pieces, and in a friendly small group. We all had as much individual support and teaching as we needed, and Beccy was great at giving everyone the confidence in their own ability. Some people had worked with silver before and some hadn't, and everyone was supported according to their experience and confidence. The 3 hours flew past and everyone completed their jewellery in that time. I couldn't recommend highly enough, thoroughly enjoyable and inspiring."
"So enjoyed this class yesterday - Beccy gave us all an understanding of how to make sea glass jewellery - good instructions at each stage plus a helping hand! I came away with a lovely pair of earrings I made."
