Silver Nature Inspired Pendant or Earrings Workshop in Great Linford
Description
During this workshop Beccy will guide you through a range of traditional techniques to make a silver pendant or pair of earrings inspired by nature. You will use the following techniques: Forging, saw piercing, planishing, soldering, annealing, sanding, soldering, filing, polishing and finishing. Materials are in addition to your course fee and may be between £10 and £30 depending on the size of your pieces. (Laser cut paper, skeleton leaves and lace can be used to texture the metal so please do feel free to bring your own – but note that they will be crushed in the process)
What's included in the price?
After completing the course Beccy offers online support and guidance as well as links to Facebook tutorials, for those who would like to continue making at home. Your work will also feature on Beccy's Instagram and Facebook page too.

Maker
I was interested in making and designing from a very early age and developed my first jewellery range in 2000. I then discovered my love for teaching in 2004 and have been developing my courses ever since. I have a home teaching studio for 1:1 & 1:2 sessions and in 2017 I set up a teaching studio at Yardley Arts where I can teach up to 11 learners. Qualifications: BA in Designed Metalwork and Jewellery from BCUC and MA Royal College of Art Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.
