"Oliver and I had the most amazing experience together ever! My son has Autism but absolutely adores being hands on. He was Welcomed by John and the team and they all enjoyed having him around. Spencer especially went out of his way to make sure Oliver’s 18th birthday was one NEVER to forgotten! Calm, quiet, professional and informative. Great skills to pass on and Oliver revelled in his success. Oliver even ate his lunch while talking to Spencer… something HE wouldn’t usually do… obviously discussing the next step of his sword design. We both left, exhausted but so happy with the progress and results of our day. Our swords are amazing and a keepsake of one of the best experiences we have had! We are looking to book again for next month!"

"This was the first time I have ever done anything like this. It was absolutely incredible. The people. The environment. Getting my hands dirty. It was completely different from my day job. The forge itself is fascinating. So much to look at and see. The amount of talent and different creations to see is amazing. Excellent pace and Bill (pretty sure he was called bill. Memory like a goldfish for names) was fantastic. Very patient and after a lifetime of working with metal he was a fantastic teacher. From using the grinder to cut the hammer and forge to shape and the grinder to sharpen and create my stunning sword was just brilliant. I’ve come away wanting to do more and have a beatiful sword on my wall and a great memory. Everyone should give this a go. "

"Massive thanks to John, Bill and the team. My son had an amazing day forging his own sword with the excellent guidance from Anvil Forge. We went from novices to creating a fire poker in 1 hour, then progressed to creating swords by the end of the day! A great day full of memories and an 11 year old who is the envy of his friends!"
