Adrian provided a clear demonstration of the processes but then we were given free-reign to complete everything ourselves. Really inspiring and we will definitely be back to do another course!"

"Great day again, if a little warm! Great step-by-step instruction from Adrian and help along the way from both Adrian and Andy. I'm pleased with "Ronnie", my Ram's head poker which will be used for my fire pit. This is a great day and a great experience and I'm well pleased with the build - it is so satisfying to turn a plain metal bar into something completely different with your own hands. The flapjack, cakes and chilli were really good too - thanks Debbie"

"Just a fantastic day. Ade and Andy just amazing hosts and course leaders. Felt a bit out numbered being the only female, but did it matter? Not a jot. Great instruction, support and felt as though I had achieved so much. Such a relaxed atmosphere but choosing the hottest day of the year was a real experience. Thank you to Debbie, a wonderful welcome, food and delicious flap jack, so good to be with you again. Would highly recommend if you want to achieve so much in a wonderful creative environment. "

"My brother in law and I attended the course and found all aspects enjoyable. We were made welcome and the food and refreshments were excellent. There was no time pressure and we felt that Adrian and Andy were always on hand to provide help and guidance. Communication from the start of booking was great and we would have no hesitation in recommending a course to anyone with an interest in blacksmithing. The value for money was excellent! "Thanks Adrian What a cracking day. Always wanted to do this and when Linda (partner) booked it for me, it couldn't come quick enough. Fed and watered throughout the whole day, which was exceptional. After a small demo, supervision was at hand but you were left on your own if they thought you had a grasp of it. At the end of the day I had a spiral metal key fob and a dragon faced 3-hooked coat hanger. Adrian and Andy were phenomenal instructors backed up by Debbie on the catering front. If you get the chance, go for it, as it will not disappoint Mark Bill Quay. Gateshead "

"I recently participated in Adrian Wood Artist Blacksmiths one-day blacksmithing experience, and I must say it was fantastic! The friendly atmosphere created by the instructors made me feel welcome right from the start. Their professionalism in blacksmithing was evident, and they guided us through each step with patience and skill. The workshop had a great vibe, with the sound of hammers and sparks flying. It was captivating to witness the transformation of raw materials into beautiful objects. The whole experience was enjoyable and educational, leaving me with a sense of accomplishment. To top it off, the organisers provided a delicious lunch prepared by Debbie that added to the overall experience. Gathering around a table, sharing stories, and enjoying good food with fellow participants created a sense of camaraderie. I highly recommend this one-day blacksmithing experience to anyone interested in the craft. The friendly atmosphere, professionalism, and tasty lunch made it an unforgettable and worthwhile adventure. Highly recommend Adrian Wood Artist Blacksmiths. "My brother and I had a fantastic day on the blacksmiths course. Lots of room and equipment for everyone to be working at the same time. Adrian and Andy were superb, great host and tutors and real nice people to chat with throughout the day. The two pieces we made gave a really good range of blacksmith techniques. Debbie provided lovely drinks and delicious treats and the lunch was superb. In all a really great day out with lovely people. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. "
