Sarah Murray reviewed: Stained Glass Nuno Felted Scarves Online Class

"I cannot recommend this enough! Lena is an excellent tutor, knowledgeable and informative. Her studio is spacious and well equipped and I am completely delighted with my finished picture, which really is finished as Lena dried it and gave us the time and equipment to add final needle felted details. The day was so enjoyable, the other women on the course were all so friendly and Lena's home made cake was delicious and I am going to try her recipe. I will definitely look out for other courses from Lena, thank you."

Lucy reviewed: Upcycling Paint & Paper Decoupage Furniture Workshop Experience: Spend Two Days with ReVamp Boutique

"This 2 day Upcycling Decoupage course was fantastic! Great fun, insightful and inspiring! Sarah was a brilliant tutor who explained things really well. Sarah also accommodated for my dietary requirements as gluten and dairy intolerant and lunch was fab, which was a bonus! Overall the 2 days were very enjoyable, and the setting was lovely, I would definitely attend another course with Sarah, and she has inspired me in my own Upcycling journey! Highly recommend to anyone! :)"

Anne Bulley reviewed: Stonecarving Weekend, Gloucestershire Cotswolds

"The fact that I keep returning to Sebastian's sculpture courses speaks for itself I think. I enjoy the space, the company, the amount of input from Sebastian, which is never too much nor too little. He is always there if needed. He explains how all the stone he has on offer carves and details of its makeup, but most of all I love working in the open air (if it isn't raining or snowing!) creating, thinking, working out how to achieve the effect I am aiming for. Long may he continue to provide such pleasurable and constructive courses."

Debbie reviewed: One day bangle/ring workshop

"We had a wonderful day yesterday making bangles with Jolene; who would have thought we could all come away with such lovely pieces of jewellery! Jolene was a great tutor very supportive and happy to let us come up with our own creations, always on hand to help with the tricky bits.....silver and copper balls spring to mind. We would all thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wanting try something new, explore their creative side and come home with an individually handcrafted bangle. PS her workshop is wonderful!"

Nicolette reviewed: Two day leather work course - bag making

"Right from the offset Jason and Louise were exceptional. From agreeably changing dates awkwardly last minute (there’s always one!), to encouraging and helping me finish off little tweaks to my devine tote at the end of the weekend before starting the 2hr trek home. The whole experience was a true inspiration, the imparting of knowledge and skills was delivered openly, as if from a friend you’d known for years, and with the highest quality materials to utlilise, the experience was sublime. Encouraged during the weekend that we can have more than 1 career in a lifetime, my eyes have been opened to a special world to which I intend to continue with passion and vigor. If questioning whether to attend, make no hesitation, book it! Great recommended accommodation too, >1000 gins was pleasing to the eye after a great days leather work!"

Julie Murphy reviewed: Ceramics/Pottery workshops in Edinburgh area

"I completed Tricia’s Introductory course last November and enjoyed it so much I have continued with weekly classes. The course was well planned and we covered many of the basics coming away with several glazed pieces - many more than any of us expected. Tricia is very patient and positive and her studio a lovely environment to work in. A great experience overall. Very therapeutic."

Claire Donaldson reviewed: Ceramics/Pottery workshops in Edinburgh area

"I have been taking weekly classes with Tricia for around 7 months and started as a complete beginner. In that time I have chosen to work mostly on the wheel and have learned so much and really enjoy classes which are in a lovely workshop with friendly relaxed atmosphere. Tricia is a great teacher who demonstrates and explains things really clearly. Classes are small so there is individual attention when needed which helps skills grow quickly. Highly recommend."

Mary Cook reviewed: Stained glass for beginners | Lead lights

"Excellent course! We learned about types of glass and looked at different pieces that David had made and some CRM works for inspiration. We practised cutting, then chose our design and glass. We cut, ground and copper foiled the pieces , following David demonstration . Then we soldered our pieces. We were encouraged and supported at each stage and all went home with a finished piece of glass."

Sonya Dyke reviewed: An Introduction to Glass Fusing

"My daughter and I spent a lovely day with Dorothy in her workshop. She was very knowledgeable and showed us various techniques we could try as well as the numerous different glasses we could use - from sheets, to confetti, to powdered. By the end of the day we had made 2 coasters, a window hanging and a free standing wave piece and can’t wait to collect them once they have been fired! Thank you Dorothy"

Wayne Galloway reviewed: Ceramics/Pottery workshops in Edinburgh area

"I have been a student of Tricia’s for around 18 months. In that time my skills and knowledge have grown so much. The small class sizes mean that Tricia has time to support you in whatever you want to learn... as well as setting projects for the whole class, e.g. makIng lidded pieces. Tricia is a great teacher regardless of whether you have never touched clay before or want to improve your skills. The classes are focussed but relaxed and there is lovely supportive atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!"

Colin Morse reviewed: Clay portrait weekends with Karin Ort

"A Christmas Present voucher for Clay Portrait Weekend with Karin Ort from son with a sense of humour....scary! But absolutely no worries. Karin is a superb teacher, the result, a clay sculpture to be proud of, for everyone on the course, including beginners like me. And that's not all, it was a wonderful relaxed weekend, great fun, great company, great organisation. And thanks to "Emma", who sat patiently whilst we all tried, and succeeded, to capture her features in our own particular way. But then of course, Karin was there gently showing us the tricks of the trade, and the way forward. Brilliant, try it!"

Caroline Gillan reviewed: Ceramics/Pottery workshops in Edinburgh area

"I have completed a couple of courses with Trish. She is a skilled tutor with a supportive and encouraging style. The classes are small which allows for individual attention but also plenty time at the wheel or bench working independently on your chosen project. I have had the chance to try a range of techniques, coilbuilding, slab work as well as throwing on the wheel, working with leather hard clay and I have also had the chance to learn a bit about glazing. Would definitely recommend these courses."

Liz smith reviewed: Watercolour painting afternoon workshop - birds, animals & nature - with artist Laura Andrew

"A great day . Laura was so hospitable ......needless to say talented . She had planned the day so well ...introducing us to different techniques and materials. After giving us the "tools " with which we could experiment and feel free to try some of our own ideas the time raced past . Laura constantly gave us encouragement and advice . We both produced some worthwhile work and came away with a great feeling of satisfaction and achievement . Thank you Laura for a lovely day ."
