She guided us through without rushing too much and made sure that everyone was able to do what they wanted. I am pleased with my bird and will enjoy him in the garden whenever the sun shines."

"I absolutely loved this course. Liz was a great teacher and showed us the techniques required in an entertaining and thorough way. I’m not a natural artist but Liz helped me to develop a picture for my Lino cut and printing and I am so proud of the results. We all came away with a number of prints ready for framing. I learned a lot and had great outcomes. Liz was a lovely host, and the studio was beautiful, both welcoming and inspiring. The tea and biscuits hit the spot, and Bert the studio cat was a great supervisor. I’m looking forward to trying another course with Liz in the future."

"I’ve done a few crafting courses and this was, by far, the best. Firstly Sue was absolutely lovely as a person and she was organised, clear, helpful and welcoming - and very calm. The venue was a delight set in beautiful Yorkshire and the village hall was light and airy, again, organised perfectly and the facilities were amazing with drinks and snacks provided too. I will definitely be returning for more of Sue’s classes and even though it was quite the journey to get there, it was truly worth it. Thank you Sue xx"

"Finding the correct words to do this course justice is a tall order. The content was absolutely perfect for the length of time, the provision of materials for use was exceptional with a lovely range of materials and colours. Being creative came with ease in the friendly environment that was created. The tutor was patient and encouraging without being intrusive and the presentation was well balanced and informative. Friends were made, the location exceptional, the food and beverages Devine. I cannot think of a single negative for a first time weaving in loom. Thank you genuinely for the loveliest relaxed day. "

"The venue was changed a a very late stage, but Ruth, informed us via a message and ask us to reply so that she knew we had received it. As for the course, Ruth, took us through the basics of what to use, the best wood to use, the best Machine head, etc. after having a look at all was available to use, we were set off on our own, (which I prefer), with Ruth coming round every 30 min or so. Thank you Ruth for a very good morning course, I will definitely be back to discover more about pyrography. Thank you once "

Everything was clearly explained and the looms had been prepared in advanced for both of us so we could start weaving straightway.
