Description

Taught by Blacksmith Gaz Hoj and sculptor Kezia Hoffman will be given copper sheet and shown techniques in fold forming, chasing and bowl making. We are generous with the copper and encourage you to get experimental, creative and playful with what you make. You will be working with gas torches, hammers and chasers, and tin snips and shown a variety of techniques including how to heat rainbow colours on your work. We provide gloves and eye protection but you are welcome to bring your own. It's a relaxed day encouraging experimentation, alongside building techniques and enjoying the versatility of copper.

What's included in the price?

Copper sheet, tools, tuition and plenty of encouragement plus cake and hot drinks. Bring your own food and additional drink. Wear warm non flammable clothes and sturdy footwear.
