Chris is a very thoughtful and patient teacher, who is there to lend a hand when necessary, but allows YOU to make the bauble. We have sent videos and recommended to friends, as we know they won't be disappointed. We also have our beautiful baubles in time for Christmas, and to keep for years to come. "

Thank you too for the coffee and biscuits through out the session they were yummy ... "

"I really enjoyed the afternoon making the Christmas Wreath with other lovely ladies. Our tutor Justine brought in some amazing willow to make the circular wreath and wonderful mixed foliage together with colourful ribbons for decoration. Justine was incredibly patient, helpful and her instructions were very clear. Not being a very creative person myself I was very pleased with my wreath and the best thing is, when the foliage dies back, you can keep the willow ring and make use of it over and over again, and not just for Christmas! Thank you Mara, Justine and Denmark Farm"

" Richard was a fantastic teacher. We were invited into his lovely home, offered a cuppa, and led through to his jewellery workshop. The shed was comfortable and well organised. Richard allowed us to be hands on whilst offering lots of support and guidance. At no point were we worried about messing up our rings. We had lots of fun and would highly recommend this workshop for anyone wanting to make their own ring for the first time. "

"I had a great day on this course with Rachel. I had some experience in enamelling but wanted to enhance my learning further. Rachel tailored the day to me ensuring that I learnt some new skills and answered my many questions. I had the opportunity to do some silver clay along with enamelling. I picked up loads of tips from Rachel’s workshop too on set up, how to pick up alternative tools more economically and on using recycled copper. Rachel’s teaching experience really showed giving clear demonstrations of techniques and good support when practicing those techniques. I came away enthused to practice new techniques at home. "I had a very relaxing and inspiring day. Kate was so welcoming and it was a treat to have, coffee, soup and cake, Kate had created a plan for the day and we achieved a lot in the time. The reference books were helpful, some will definitely be on my Christmas list. In fact I know what I need now to start experimenting myself which was one of my aims for the day. Kate was great with encouragement and she enabled me to step outside my comfort zone. "

"We booked an introduction to pottery throwing and glass fusion as an anniversary outing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish! Instructions sent prior to the booking were clear and informative, particularly around the need to layer up and wear clothes you don't mind getting messy. Chris and Sarah were both welcoming and very supportive throughout the sessions, meaning we felt a great sense of accomplishment by the end. Can't wait to display our pieces to remind us of a lovely milestone!"

"This was a really enjoyable day. The course was very practical and I am very pleased with the pair of socks I made. Although I have hand-knitted socks, I have never used a circular sock knitting machine before. It was more fiddly than I anticipated, but having a 1:1 lesson meant the course went at my pace, which was great. The tutor, Julie, has an absolute wealth of knowledge about sock knitting machines and the whole scene and was good company. It was a well run day, with a nice lunch provided and tea/coffee/biscuits also. Would recommend."

"What an amazing and wonderful weekend. Pamela is the most caring and engaging tutor, with a wealth of experience and expertise. Julian and I are absolute beginners and yet by the end of our two days we had both produced something that we were really proud of. We loved the pace of working and the fact that Pamela knew when to leave us and when to support us. She shared tips and ideas which come from years of working across the world, which is so inspiring. She knew how to get us out of any issue without any drama, which made us more confident in our approaches and our technique. My only criticism is that it went far too quickly and ended far too soon!! I would highly recommend this course to anyone of any age or level. Pamela will know how to engage you and make it excellent. Thank you, Pamela, for a delightful time and the best weekend course we have been on."
