Julian Fonseca reviewed: Mig Welding For Beginners Introductory Day Course.

"Tony is an excellent teacher and the one to one tuition was great it allowed me to work at my own pace with lots of instructional demonstrations and advice along the way. By the end of the day I felt confident enough to start undertaking small projects that I’d often thought about but didn’t feel that I had enough ability to tackle. It was a very enjoyable and constructive day and would highly recommend Tony’s course to anyone wishing to learn mig welding. "

Newport Wrought Ironwork responded:

"Thank you Julian for your kind review it is very much appreciated. I look forward to seeing some of your projects in the future and please feel free to contact me if I can be of any assistance in the future. Regards Tony."

Matthew Evans reviewed: One day blacksmithing course in West Wales

"This was without a doubt one of if not the best experiences i have had. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. what meant a to lot to me was that you were shown what to do and then Aaron just let you get on with it, nothing better than hands on experience. I will absolutely be doing the next course they offer. Thank you Aaron for a fantastic day."

A and T Petersen Ltd responded:

"Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We are delighted that you enjoyed the course and we'd love to have you back."

Joan reviewed: Paper Flower Kit - Cosmos. Papercraft kit for women. A creative gift idea.

"I have not made the flowers yet. I was expecting a better quality of crepe paper, not the coarse stuff that is provided. I bet the flowers in the illustration are not made with that crepe paper. However, the assembly instructions seem comprehensive and clear. "

Bergin & Bath responded:

"Hi Joan, the paper we use in our kits is 180gsm Italian crepe paper, it does feel naturally quiet course, this means there is enough 'stretch' in the paper to shape the petals and once the flowers are made they will hold their shape. The flowers in the listing shots are made with the same paper. I'm sure when you make the flowers you will see this is the case."

Peter and Sarah reviewed: Glass blowing course - taster

"We really loved the glass blowing experience. The instructors were both very friendly and welcoming and really let us decide the pace and direction of our little glassblowing projects. They gave us nice clear instructions and helped us understand the processes we were performing to work the glass. When things went wrong they were clear and kind in their explanations about what went wrong so we were able to learn. When one of our pieces broke in the annealer, they made the effort to help us remake it so one of us didn’t lose out on having something to show for our efforts. Even so we ended up with four lovely pieces which we got to choose the design and colours of ourselves, rather than just making the same things as everyone else. We are certainly keen to return and learn more!"

Chew Valley HandMade Glass responded:

"Thank you both for your review, it was a pleasure to work with you to create some lovely glass pieces. So glad you enjoyed your time with us, look forward to seeing you in the future. Regards Steve and Angie "

"I really enjoyed the 2 day wood turning course with Anna. She is incredibly knowledgeable and patient and was able to guide me through all the processes and techniques to complete a beautiful cherry wood stool. Charmain reviewed: Winter Robin in Pastels - evening

"Throughly enjoyed this workshop of a Robin in pastels. First time at this venue. Easy to find. Ample parking. Welcomed at the venue. Good space for the activity. I was using pastels for the first time. Warm and friendly tutor was excellent and took us through the process step-by-step. Everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify. Tutor gave lots of advice and tips. The workshop was at a good pace allowing for people to catch up when needed. My only suggestion for improvement is to make sure that everybody has a set of the materials needed as we did have to wait whilst we shared some of the materials. I think it is fair to say we were all impressed at the results from our efforts. I highly recommend this class. "
