Weaving the cosmos: sacred geometry and hexagonal weave basketry
Description
Try your hand at hexagonal weave basketry and make a hexagonal-weave basket while discovering pattern and unity in nature and many of the world’s traditional cultures. Deepen your understanding of the order in nature and how to apply principles of harmony such as the golden ratio into your work and design practice. We will also learn how to weave woven six and ten strand spheres.

All materials included. Bring a packed lunch or book a locally sourced and organic cooked Emerson College lunch. Tablehurst farm shop/cafe is a 5 minute walk and another lovely lunch option! The local village of Forest Row has an abundance of local shops, cafes and restaurants. Teas/coffee/refreshments are available throughout the day.
