Scented candlemaking & custom fragrance mixing

Due to covid-19, dates cannot be guaranteed at this time. Please send me a message via the 'Ask a Question' tab, in advance to ensure dates are available.

(Alternatively you can order my kit that you can do from home- select 'see more from this course organiser.)

I’ll only be doing workshops for one week in Stamford, every 3-4 months as I’m living abroad (I also do courses in Italy!).

During the workshop we will discuss candle making science, equipment, different types of material plus quality and proper handling, including smelling and discussing lots of fragrances (so you can mix your own special combination), what a good candle should look like and how it should burn, and easy step-by-step how to.
Courses are held in the morning or afternoon 11am or 3pm - on weekends, however dates can be flexible - just ask!

Learn how to make scented candles (or tea lights) in a relaxed, informal setting in ‘The Wicked Wick’ home kitchen In Stamford or alternately at a nearby local venue, where you can learn how to make a scented, natural soy wax candle in your own kitchen.
This workshop can also be combined with my soap making workshop. Please email for special price/discount.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What a fab course. A chilled out relaxed morning learning the science behind candle making, all about scents and then making my own candle. I’ve since burnt it and the scent throw was amazing especially as I have a poor sense of smell. The candle also burnt evenly all the way to the last. Very reasonable kits on offer to allow you to experiment at home and ongoing info via email. I can’t recommend this course highly enough and I challenge you not to come away a little in love with her dogs!
