Description

This is a pattern for a dramatic quilt which showcases a very traditional block in a modern setting. It utilises some key design concepts of the modern movement – large areas of negative space, variations in scale and nice clean lines. The lovely thing about this design is that it can be completed in the “usual” way or as Quilt as You Go, thus allowing you a great many options in terms of quilting, no matter what size of sewing machine you have. This quilt is approximately 55” square – a fabulous size for decorating a bed, snuggling under on the sofa or hanging on a wall. The amount of quilting that you incorporate into your design may have an impact on the finished size. NB - this is a pattern only, not a course, though my patterns are so full of guidance, hints and tips that they are ALMOST a course!
