Description

Join me for a fun, informal art class where you'll learn to draw stunning, intricate mandalas using a few simple techniques. You'll be amazed by what you can achieve once you know how, and I'll show you, using step-by-step instructions, all you need to know. Mandalas are an ancient art form that originated in Asia approximately two thousand years ago. Drawing and colouring mandalas is now recognised around the globe as a fabulous aid to meditation and relaxation. During the class, you'll have the option to draw a mandala using traditional Asian-inspired motifs or a design inspired by another culture. Alternatively, you can create your own design. Either way, by the end of the class, you'll have all the knowledge you need to continue drawing mandalas, making each one unique. Live online classes are also available. These are suitable for individuals, groups and corporate 'days out' even in lockdown. Private group classes available on request. Click 'More from this maker' (under 'Maker' below) to book an online Mandala Art Class. What you'll learn: - How to draw a mandala template. - Tips and tricks to make beautiful, intricate designs (that are much easier to create than you'd imagine). - A brief history of mandalas and how to use them as an aid to relaxation. By the end of the class: - You'll be able to draw stunning, intricate mandalas. - After the class, you may wish to colour your mandala using metallic pens, coloured pencils or paints. - Join my private Facebook group for ongoing inspiration and tips.
