Description

Come and learn how to abolish the myth that watercolour is difficult! Try a Taster day! In this workshop, using only a few high-quality materials, all provided for you and awaiting your arrival, you will learn how to achieve lovely pieces of work to take home - which may surprise you. No previous experience will be required, and these techniques will be a great introduction to such a satisfying new hobby. With so few lightweight materials, watercolour is a hobby you can carry with you on trips, on holidays, in a garden in summer or beside a log fire in winter, listening to your favourite music, radio, or TV programme. Watercolour is a portable hobby! If you enjoy this introduction to Watercolour you will be drawn to the joy of carrying with you a hand-bag-size little sketch book of beautiful paper, an inexpensive brush and watersoluble ink pen, just 4 or 5 paints and a small bottle of water. A simple picnic can become a memory to carry home and frame. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful gardens and inspiring Studio Barn at Micklems Farm.
