Learn to use your intarsia carriage on your knitting machine in one hour. Machine makes covered: Brother, Knitmaster, Silver Reed & Passap.

Learn to use this underused but simple carriage on your domestic knitting machine. Claire will take you through how to set up your intarsia carriage, right through to finished design & how to sew your ends in to give a truly professional look.

In the lesson you will learn how to set up your machine so you are able to produce your own beautiful & stunning designs via the intarsia method.

You will be able to follow an intarsia chart with confidence.

You will also learn how to set up your yarns & calculate how many balls of yarn you will need for your design.

You will come away from the session with all the knowledge you need for intarsia knitting as well having the confidence to produce intarsia knitting for future projects.

Finally, you will learn some simple embroidery techniques to enhance your design.

You will be learning with one of the best knitwear designers in the industry who teaches machine knitting to students at the world renown Nottingham Trent University's BA Hons Knitwear Design Course. Claire has also worked in the knitwear industry selling knitwear design concepts to top international fashion houses for over 30yrs.
