Description

Join us on our Identifying Trees in Autumn workshop, where we will look at berries, nuts, bark, tree shape and more! There are an amazing variety of trees here at Denmark Farm, making it a perfect site for identifying a wide range of tree species in autumn. Join our Nature Reserve Manager Ryan, as we explore the woodlands & hedgerows at Denmark Farm for this Identifying Trees in Autumn workshop. Ryan is an experienced tutor, having been running his own woodland business ‘Knight-Fox Wild About Learning’ since 2017. He is an Ecologist, teacher of Wildlife Identification & Tracking, Ethnobotanist, Bushcraft Instructor, Social Forester, Forest School Leader and Coastal School Leader. The course is suitable for anyone aged 16 or over. We will also be running an Identifying Trees in Winter workshop and an Identifying Trees in Summer workshop. Please bring a packed lunch. Please also bring suitable clothing and footwear for the outdoors as we’ll be wondering around the nature reserve. All proceeds from our events and holidays are ploughed directly back into managing our 40 acre nature reserve. Thank you for your support and please do come to visit soon.
