Encaustic Painting & Collage - Taster Session
FOR THE LOVE OF WAX
Maximum of 4 - come along and explore & experiment with this wonderful and versatile medium, although this course is very basic it will be enough for you to decide whether you want to pursue working with hot molten wax!, working on paper and wood we will explore the various techniques and methods used to create your own masterpiece!. All materials including R&F pigments and coloured bars will be provided, you will leave the course with at least one finished piece and the knowledge of how to work safely using various heat tools such as heat guns and blow torches. Further drop in sessions will be available for those who do not have their own studio and would like to continue with a more relaxed class and enjoy the freedom to continue to experiment with encaustic wax. What's included in the price?
All materials are included in the course fee, including R&F pigments and coloured bars, free use of encaustic paper and also one birchwood panel.
