Create stunning cyanotype prints – You learn various techniques throughout the day. You’ll use seasonal plants and flowers to create your collages, buttons and lace too. You will also try out drawing your designs to transfer into cyanotype print.
At the end of the session, you’ll take home five individual prints on A4 sized cotton with your various designs. They’ll look great on the wall at home or even get creative afterwards with a sewing machine.
Cyanotype printmaking needs plenty of sunlight in Scotland; this can be tricky; we will be using UV light sources to create the prints. During the Winter, we will be using artificial flowers and stencils to create the designs.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials for producing the prints will be supplied with handouts for future reference. If you have some images, lace or flowers, you wish to use that hold sentimental value, please bring them along.
