Crochet Flower Shawl or Blanket or Throw

X

Description

Crochet flowers - not for complete beginners, this workshop is only suitable if you have experience in basic crochet. Three hours of crochet in a peaceful workshop in the beautiful Welsh hills, learning a pattern that I designed when I lived in Iceland for winter. Arrive to a selection of yarns for you to start making your crochet flowers with. The crochet hook is yours to take home with you, and 10 balls of coloured wools or natural shades, or all one colour of your choice to work with. How much yarn you will need for your project will very much depend on what you are going to make, so I have included 500g of yarn into the price so that a smaller item like a shawl or scarf can be made from it, or a large project like a blanket or bed throw can be started with the yarns supplied and it can be added to. The flowers look beautiful as a blanket or throw, or they can be made into a small shawl, scarf, bed runner, or many other ideas, like cushions and bags (if lined with fabric). During the three hours you will be learning how to make the flowers, and how to attach them into rows and attach the rows together as you crochet each flower, and how to add the fill in stars. The project can then be continued at home, to whatever size you choose to make it. Choose from a morning session (10am - 1pm), or an afternoon session (2pm - 5pm). The workshop may have others attending, or might be just yourself. If you would prefer a one to one session please message me via the 'message the tutor button. If you are travelling to get here, there is a farm cottage, and a cabin on site that may be available for you to book.
